Who are you?

I am an aspiring British writer in my twenties, wrapped up in parenting and running the online gothic jewellery store GlitterGoth. I also have an original fiction portfolio, now available at Grace Bertram.com

I gain a great deal of pleasure from writing. I truly hope you enjoy my endeavours, and if you do then I'd love to hear from you!

A proportion of my work is rated Mature, and should only be read by those of age to do so. If you can't see the relevant stories, then check the rating filter is switched to show all ratings.

A quick note on my speech marks: A couple of reviewers have commented on their annoyance at my use of the 'single speech mark' (which is typographically similar to an apostrophe) at denoting dialogue, rather than the "double speech mark".

The reason I use them is that they are a British publishing standard. Most books published in England, including the Harry Potter series, use th 'single speech mark' to indicate dialogue and "quotation marks" to indicate a quote within speech. This is simply because it saves ink in a long run. Both types of speech mark are considered grammatically acceptable, and since I am British, I use the one that makes the most sense to me.

If it bothers you, then I apologise, and I hope that you can find an alternative fanfiction that tickles your fancy :D

Your fandoms, stories and ships are?

Harry Potter - By far the most prolific of my works. I ship the pairings which have now been confirmed as canon. I wrote a great many fanfictions in this fandom archived elsewhere under the name of "Myth & Legend". A friend encouraged me to post them here, and though they were written years ago, I hope they are still enjoyable.

All HP stories are canon compliant up to the end of Order Of The Phoenix. After that, I go my own way, so they can be considered thoroughly AU, with this ships Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione. If this is not to your taste then I wish you the very best of luck in finding something you truly enjoy.

Voyager - A wonderous place to dabble in correcting the mistakes of the show. My therapy. A permanant region of respite and relaxation when everything goes pear shaped. I ship J/C. Nothing can change that. Not even Braga. All Voyager stories will be archived here.

Fullmetal Alchemist - My latest fandom and my newest addiction. I ship Ed/Roy (yes, it's slash) as my primary pairing, but mostly I love to explore a wonderful concept and give it my own unique and rather cruel twist.
