General: ok so I have revamped my profile in an effort to make it shorter and (hopefully) less boring to read. So let’s get the ball rolling. I’m a 27 y.o. male who moved from Australia to New Zealand at the start of 2003 and I've relocated again this year to Canada. I am a racing nut (F1 and NASCAR...which is why my homepage is on foxsports, lol), love Harry Potter, LotR, several cartoons and this would be how I see my life if it got crammed into a CD.

Fic stuff: my first story was ‘Dormant Power’ which my beta and I hope to go over after we’ve both finished what fics we’ve currently got in progress. The rest of my fics have either stemmed from that one or are totally different ideas…not much surprise there I suppose.
Anyway, the “Trent Fuller series” starts off with ‘Definitive Year’ which is based in the Marauders’ final year at Hogwarts.
It’s 1976 and the Dark Lord, Voldemort, is at the height of his power. The first war has begun. Inside Hogwarts however, Albus Dumbledore has taken measures to ensure the students safety. The Marauders are in their final year. Their friendship is strong, but will it be enough to survive in this time of darkness?
Moving on to ‘Dormant Power’, which was done before ‘Half Blood Prince’ was on sale, is based in Harry’s sixth year and evolved from an idea I read on another author’s profile.
Harry and his friends start their sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. More challenges await them in the form of new Professors and subjects. Harry must cope with new found abilities, as well as a mysterious stranger who has a few hidden surprises, and just might prove to be the crucial piece in the puzzle that continues to be Harry’s life.
I mention in the author notes that there is an interlude fic for those interested. This is ‘The Apprentice’ and can be read after chapter 2 of ‘Dormant’ if you want to read everything in order.
Moving on to the third story, I wrote ‘Beginning of the End’ which ended Harry’s schooling years at Hogwarts.
Harry returns to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for his seventh and final year. Voldemort has decided that the moment is right to strike. Old faces will return and more lives will be lost. In order to fulfil the prophecy, Harry will need to rise to the occasion one final time.
Another interlude story, ‘Uncanny Resemblance’, fits in after chapter 12 of this.
I had every intention of leaving this series there, but a few reviewers requested I do a sequel, hence why ‘White Feather’ was started. This will be the final chapter in this series as I can’t see any reason for writing another one after knowing how I want this to end. However, I won’t rule out doing a prequel based on Trent’s days at school…but that won’t be started for a very long time.
The other ‘main’ fic I’m currently writing is ‘Chosen Road’ which incorporates everything we learnt in ‘Half Blood Prince’. I had intended to get this fic moving well before JKR releases the real book 7 but that wasn’t the case as the final installment has been out for over a month. I will finish the story so don’t worry about that, but it will take a while…sorry about that!
As for the rest of the stories, they’re all one-shots and have no relation to any of the other stories I’ve done. My personal favourite would be ‘Best Thing’…despite the fact that I refuse to read any more slash fics (except those labelled as comedy since they are supposed to be over the top) as the vast majority are complete rubbish (not all, and I apologise to the, sadly, few and far between stories of this type that are well written) due to the fundamental reason that females have no idea what makes men tick. If I could keep the reviews for it I would take that fic off the site...but since they go, the story stays.
Ramblings: please note that I am yet to read the final installment of the Harry Potter series. This is due to me wanting to see the movie first before reading it so it won’t be getting read until 2010 (that’ll teach me for being nice to my girlfriend since it was her idea in the first place, lol). I have changed my views about reading reviews...I have a friend who has said that she can proofread the reviews for me and see if there are any spoilers (thanks, supernova)...but still feel free to PM me if you want to ask a question about any of my fics and I shall endeavour to answer it for you. I know I’m taking a big risk by doing that since any smartarse can PM me spoilers but if anyone does, I just won’t answer any after that, simple. In fact, I shall put your name in the warning part of my fics so everyone who reads my stories will know who did it and that you are solely responsible for me not answering any more questions.
My beta is my girlfriend, SongOfStars, who, through some strange twist of fate, happened to stumble across my fics both on here and IMDb…what are the odds, lol. Anyway, since she betas my stories, I beta hers and if you value your life, I would advise against teasing her...that’s MY job! (evil grin)

Both ‘White Feather’ and ‘Chosen Road’ are going...well, very slowly. I’ve lost all motivation for writing them (my beta is doing her best to help me through it though...thanks, Song) but I have a responsibility to finish these two since I hate reading fics that are abandoned. I have no idea which one will be updated next (though I would guess ‘White Feather’ purely since it’s the one that’s closest to being finished)...or when. Some good news; as I mentioned earlier, I kind of know what I want to do with the rest of ‘White Feather’ so I am trying my best to put it into words...better than nothing I guess.
To all those people who have reviewed any of my stories…I would like to sincerely say ‘thank you’. Your comments have given me a huge shock, and I love reading them! However, the anonymous ones are a bit of a problem as I can’t answer your questions unless you leave a email address...not that I care since I know the answers so it’s your loss (shrugs). And to those who just read the stories without reviewing…which I have to admit I do very often…thanks too! Though...I do wish more people would review considering the amount of hits they get but I won’t beg for reviews since I reckon that doesn’t do much. Besides, you’ll review the fics because you want to, not because someone tells you to.
Oh, and just in case anyone actually bothers to read my profile (thanks for sticking with me, lol), I tend to shy away from writings cliffies...I find them quite frustrating really. I will admit to using them sometimes...but certainly not every chapter.
