Hello, everyone! Glad to see that you made it this far and hopefully, intend on reading some more of my stories. My name is Amanda, I'm 16 and a junior in high school. And I have to say that junior year is definitely the hardest yet! I swear, they plot against us at all of those 'teacher inservices.' So anyway, I'm muddling along through the year, waiting for April 8th when I'll be off to CA for a week for spring break. My dream is to go to college out there, eventually become a writer for television, and then move on to movies. If you're getting real particular, my goal is to win an Oscar for a movie I write.
But for now, I write mostly HP fanfiction. I'm completely obsessed with it. I don't know what I would do without it - pretty bad, huh? I do have one Summerland fic out, and I may or may not be updating that one soon, I'm still trying to get some inspiration.
I would LOVE to meet Dan Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint. To top it all, let's add J.K. Rowling. She is my role model. When I look at how far she's come with so little she had available to her, it makes me realize that it's not impossible for me to have the same kind of success. So thanks, J.K.!
Hmmm ... other things about me? Yeah, I'm completely infatuated with Europeans. Don't ask why, they just drive me crazy. I'm not your typical teenage girl - but then again, I'm not like the kind of girl who says she's not an average girl just to be different, either. I'm just me, and I like thinking that I don't have to put a label on myself.

Please Catch Me
My first "Summerland" story. Centered around Jay's little sister, who gets in some trouble and joins the big happy Gregory/Durant/Robertson/Rexford/Westerly family in Playa Linda.
Settling --- NOTE: CURRENTLY IN THE PROCESS OF BEING RE-WORKED TO COINCIDE WITH "HE KNOWS" AND "COUNTING THE DAYS."

Whiskey Lullaby
Songfic to Brad Paisley's "Whiskey Lullaby." Ginny changes her whole life because of one thing, and not for the better. Sometimes life is too much for one person to deal with all alone.
I would just like to add a disclaimer here to all of my stories on this site. I own nothing of what I write about except the original aspects of the plots that I create. I find it rather annoying to have to add one at the beginning of every chapter, so I'll just say it once here: I own nothing. It belongs to J.K. Rowling and anyone else who owns anything else I write about. Also I love writing songfics, so any song featured in my stories belongs to whoever rightfully owns them (i.e. not me). I do have a whole bunch of original stories, though, so if anyone's interested you can e-mail me.

"Dance like nobody's watching, love like you've never been hurt . . . and live like it's your last day."
"So if I asked you about art you could give me the skinny on every art book ever written. Michelangelo? You know a lot about him I bet. Life's work, criticisms, political aspirations. But you couldn't tell me what it smells like in the Sistine Chapel. You've never stood there and looked up at that beautiful ceiling. And if I asked you about women I'm sure you could give me a syllabus of your personal favorites, and maybe you've been laid a few times too. But you couldn't tell me how it feels to wake up next to a woman and be truly happy. If I asked you about war you could refer me to a bevy of fictional and non-fictional material, but you've never been in one. You've never held your best friend's head in your lap and watched him draw his last breath, looking to you for help. And if I asked you about love I'd get a sonnet, but you've never looked at a woman and been truly vulnerable. Known that someone could kill you with a look. That someone could rescue you from grief. That God had put an angel on Earth just for you. And you wouldn't know how it felt to be her angel. To have the love be there for her forever. Through anything, through cancer. You wouldn't know about sleeping sitting up in a hospital room for two months holding her hand and not leaving because the doctors could see in your eyes that the term "visiting hours" didn't apply to you. And you wouldn't know about real loss, because that only occurs when you lose something you love more than yourself, and you've never dared to love anything that much. I look at you and I don't see an intelligent confident man, I don't see a peer, and I don't see my equal. I see a boy. Nobody could possibly understand you, right Will? Yet you presume to know so much about me because of a painting you saw. You must know everything about me."

"I was just about to tell you - that I love him. I do! I love him! I love him, and I don't care what you think. I love him for the man he wants to be, and I love him for the man he almost is. I love him, Laurel. I love him! I love him . . . "
