Author has written 40 stories for Mass Effect, X-Com, Avatar, Star Wars, Wizard of Oz, Doctor Who, Hunger Games, Saints Row, and Monty Python. INTRODUCTION I am a mature male in his forties. I am a big fan of many characters in games, movies, books and TV and I like reading about them. I am relatively new to fan fiction, although I have dabbled in it over the years and have written a lot of material in forums that could be regarded as short stories. Much of my material is humour related. But I am not adverse to a bit of drama and action and even some romance/friendship. MY REVIEW POLICY I realise that the most important feedback for a story is reviews. But I will always be sincere in my reviews. I will always leave a review for stories I feel positive about, even if to say it's nice story. However, I know purely negative reviews can be upsetting. So I will not leave reviews for stories I don't have anything good to say about it or where I don't reach the end off the stories. MY READING PREFERENCES Generally I prefer reading one-shots of up to 1,500 words as I prefer shorter high impact stories. However, I am not adverse to reading longer stories if the the characters and plot line grip me. I like well written stories with humour, action and/or drama. I don't mind romances/friendship, but usually prefer it in conjunction with an action or dramatic context. I am a bit choosy about romance pairings, Especially as i am not keen on pairings that don't make mush sense to be on a biological level. I am not keen where mammal based creatures have affairs with non-mammal species. So I am not keen on Kira/Odo, human/drell, human/Turian, etc. Although anything goes with an Asari because that makes sense. I especially like reading about my favourite female characters of which there are many. Perhaps I will make a list some time. MY STORIES As I don't have a lot of time most of my stories will be one-shot entries. Many of my initial entries are one-shots I posted in fan-sites, which I have adapted as fan-fiction. But I have a couple of ideas for longer stories which will be more drama based.
