Scrubbing the Decks

One day, it was as normal as any old day. Kids go to school, after school they start doing whatever it is they do after school. For Aeli and Aruha, it meant another day at the island shrine. For Zoe and Cid, it meant a day at the mechanic shop. For Romaru, it meant doing his part-time job as a waiter. For Rika, Kurei, Shirma, Croma and Joshua, it meant helping their parents watering, fertilizing, harvesting and taking care of Chocobos at the chocobo farm.

However, before Zoe and Cid left for the shop...

"Hey, could you clean up my airship?" Cid asked. Joshua looked appalled.

"Are you kidding?! We have 50 big baskets that need to be filled by the end of the week, 10 fields of crops that need to be watered and fertilized and another 10 new fields that need to be-"

"Sure."

"Great! I expect that ship to be squeaky clean by the time I come back!" Cid said.

"... Rika, what did you just do?" Croma asked.

"What? I was just answering his question," Rika said. Kurei facepalmed.

"Rika, don't you think we have a bit too much on our hands?" Kurei said.

"Uh..." Rika shook her head.

"Why is the pressure on us?" Joshua banged his head against the table.

"We're never going to finish all this in time," Shirma said.

"Oh yes we will," Kurei said.

"Get up! Assemble! We can do this!" Everyone stood up and assembled like soldiers.

"Don't count out the assistants that are helping our mothers and fathers," Kurei said.

"Yeah, sure. There's only, like, 5 of them," Croma reminded.

"Shut up and don't speak unless you are spoken to!" Kurei snapped.

"Now then, my parents are working on one of the fields. Shirma's are on another. Then there's Rika's on the nearest field, and Joshua's on another."

"What about Croma's?" Shirma asked.

"Dummy! Have you forgotten that Croma's parents are travelling merchants and already left to sell goods at the mainland?!" Joshua snapped.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Anyways, the assistants are going to work in pairs as well. Rika and I will work on the smallest field, Joshua will work with the fifth assistant, and Croma and Shirma works together," Kurei said.

"So, then... Wait, what about the new fields?" Shirma asked.

"The new fields? Our parents already said that they and the assistants will work on those themselves. Anyways, that time, we'll clean the ship," Kurei said.

"Well, we already wasted five minutes with all this explaining. Let's go!" Joshua said.

A few hours of hard work later...

"I'm so tired..." Rika said.

"Alright... Don't worry! We've still got ginger water!" Kurei said, puting the ginger water on the table.

"Alright!" They all drank to their heart's content. Afterwards, the cleaning starts...

Cid's Airship

"Well, then, let's start cleaning up this room!" Kurei said.

Rika and Kurei were in charge of dusting the rooms inside.

"Ugh, this is dusty!" Rika exclaimed.

"Sorry for putting you through all this," Kurei said.

"Oh, it's alright! Don't underestimate a five-year-old!" Rika said.

As they dusted, Rika noticed a black... Thing...

"AAAHHHHH! A SPIDER!" Rika screeched, running towards Kurei.

That spider was a tarantula.

"Oh dear..."

"GUYS! A LITTLE HELP!"

"What the-"

Joshua dropped the broom and ran towards the source of the yell.

"What the hell? What was that for?!" Joshua said, agitated.

"Uh... Joshua-nii-chan..."

Joshua looked up.

"GET IT OFF ME!!!"

Croma and Shirma were a little surprised at this, but they continued mopping.

"I'm sure Joshua can handle it."

The Storage Room

"AUGH!"

Kurei grabbed the tarantula and threw it to the floor.

"What's a tarantula doing here?!" Joshua yelled.

"How should I know?!"

Joshua took Kurei's duster. He swung it around like as if it was a sword. He jabbed at the tarantula. He jabbed again. Then he bonked the tarantula on the head.

"Go Joshua-nii-chan! Go!" Rika cheered.

Joshua managed to catch the tarantula with Rika's and Kurei's duster. He opened the nearest window, and threw it out.

"Thank god that thing's gone-"

The tarantula was still on the windowsill.

The Decks

"Hum hu hum..." Shirma hummed a little song while mopping. Croma got an idea.

"Hey! Croma, what are you doing?!"

Croma splashed the bucket of water into Shirma.

"That's not nice!" Shirma grabbed her bucket and threw it at him.

"That does it!"

Croma chased Shirma around with his mop.

The Dining Room

"GET BACK HERE TARANTULA!!!"

Joshua was still chasing that tarantula.

"Go Joshua go!"

The Kitchen

Croma kept chasing Shirma. They were both making muddy tracks all over the ship.

"I'LL GET YOU, SHIRMA!" Croma said maniacally.

Name: Rika Hikarine

Age: 8 years old

Appearance: Blonde hair in a ponytail, gold wide eyes, yellow t-shirt, orange jacket that only reaches to the waist, but covers up the arms, sky-blue jeans, orange shoes

Home: Blossomring Island, Chocobo farm (I know the name's actually Chocobo Island in Chocobo Tales, but it's too cliché, so I'm renaming it)

Fighting style: She uses a jumprope with yellow rope and sparkly orange handles as a whip. She can also use that jumprope like it is to give a boost during jumping. She can gather stardust by opening a special pouch that can keep it in (this is only possible in space and during the night). She can also use the old-fashioned cards from Chocobo Tales (she IS based on that) and, if she actually borrowed or stole a keyblade, she can fight just like any other keyblader. She DOES have a keyblade of her own, but it only appears when she needs it the most. (her keyblade's light yellow and shines. It is made completely of light, which makes it surprising that she can even grip it. There's a keychain that looks like a mini-daisy.) Probably because she got turned into a chocobo once, if she is in space, she can think really hard, and then she will have yellow wings that will allow her to fly around space.

Other details: She, along with (some of) the natives of Blossomring Island, survived a war. She can beat Joshua in DDR. He can beat her in puzzle-solVing. And they can tie in a duel... Or Tin Pin... Her parents died in the war. Cid always goes to Radiant Garden, and her elder brother is in college so her sister Zoe takes care of Cid's shop to feed them all.

Name: Kurei Rokujin

Age: 10-turning-11

Appearance: Black, messy hair, wide dark blue eyes, red hoodie, dark blue jeans and black sneakers

Home: Same as Rika

Fighting style: Well, it's not the same as Rika's... He can do spells with his hand (Like Cure or Fire or Blizzard) and instead of roller skates, he uses a skateboard. He does NOT have the chocobo cards like Rika (because it's either Mogs was pissed off that he didn't call him Dueler X or he didn't have any more) and he also can use the keyblade. It's similiar to Rika's, except instead of yellow light it's blue, and his keychain is... A mini daisy like Rika's, except the petals are blue. Like Rika's, it only appears when he needs it the most. And he doesn't have a jumprope, he has a frisbee. He also got turned into a chocobo like Rika, and so, he also has the wings. Except his is blue.

Name: Chiseki Leafline

Age: 17

Appearance: Emerald long straight hair to the waist, emerald-green eyes, Light green t-shirt, dark green jacket and even daker jeans, and green sneakers, transparent wings, often in human size but when it matters, she'll change into the size that people would imagine fairies would be. The dark green jacket is to cover the wings.

Home: Um... Blossomring Island... Again. At least it's not the farm again... It's the forest.

Fighting style: Vine whip! Karate. Taekwondo... Kung fu. Nature magic.

Other details: She's a forest fairy. Her parents died due to sickness, while her elder sister died in the war. Met Rika and the gang when they visited the forest. She was born and raised in that forest. However, her ancestors (unknown if it's her great great grandmother or many generations back) are from the Kingdom of the Whimsical Wind.

Age: 17

Appearance: Emerald hair in pigtails, gold eyes, apple-green t-shirt, brown pants, goggles, black slippers.

Home: She's Rika's sister, of course she lives with her.

Fighting style: Hitting foes with a long metal baton (and if she's angry, she'll throw whatever's at hand at the person she's angry at).

Other details: Rika's sister. Their parents died, Cid's at the mainland, and her brother is in college, so she's the only one there to feed her little sister and her friends.

Appearance: Brown hair, brown eyes, black shirt that slowly turns white upwards, grey pants, white shoes, brown translucent wings

Home: The Kingdom of the Whimsical Wind (BTW, this is where Chiseki's ancestors come from)

Fighting style: Swords, earth magic

Other details: He is a merchant who one day came to Blossomring Island. Rika and the gang heard about this kingdom from him, and went. When they met the princess, he was astonished by her beauty and tried winning her heart. He is an Earth Fairy.

Other details: She is a princess. A Light Fairy, she simply needs to bask in the sun or a light source for power. The brighter, the better.

Human appearance: Blue hair, green eyes, teal sleeveless dress with ribbon keeping it tight, its skirt reaching her knees, cyan shoes with blue ribbons, brown slingbag, music note amulet

Home: Unknown hill she nicknamed 'Melody Hill' (for the beautiful melody that's always playing)

Fighting style: In her saddlebag, she has this magical flute. At first, she only played it for fun, but later on she found out she can play melodies that, if you play the right one, can probably set your enemies (or friends!) on fire. This was found out when she opened a mysterious book found in a tomb that had many scripts she could play with her flute that for some reason has songs like 'Fire' or 'Blizzard'. When she played 'Fire' she accidentally set Rainbow Dash's mane on fire...

Other details: I decided to make her while watching My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic. From Equestria, she lived on a hill that is uncharted in maps. She gave it the nickname 'Melody Hill' not after her name, but after the melodies the animals sing about. Her parents gave birth to her there, however one day her parents had to leave when she was five. The animals were always so kind to her so her parents left her in their care for five years. But Melody was still lonely, even with the animals. A hummingbird who had- wait, too much details, I'll put this in another story.

They have completely different personalities- Aruha is a tomboy, while Aeli is calm. I can understand how Aeli became a priestess, but I have no idea how Aruba passed.

I was walking around in a store. I saw a cashier hand this little boy his money back saying "I'm sorry, but you don't have enough money to buy this doll." Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him: ''Granny, are you sure I don't have enough money?'' The old lady replied: ''You know that you don't have enough money to buy this doll, my dear.'' Then she asked him to stay there for 5 minutes while she went to look around. She left quickly. The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand. Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to. "It's the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for this Christmas. She was so sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her." I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus will bring it to her after all, and not to worry. But he replied to me sadly. "No, Santa Claus can't bring it to her where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there." His eyes were so sad while saying this. "My sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister.'' My heart nearly stopped. The little boy looked up at me and said: "I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall." Then he showed me a very nice photo of him where he was laughing. He then told me "I want mommy to take my picture with her so she won't forget me. I love my mommy and I wish she doesn't have to leave me, but daddy says that she has to go to be with my little sister." Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly. I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. "What if we checked again, just in case you do have enough money?'' "OK" he said "I hope that I have enough." I added some of my money to his without him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money. The little boy said: "Thank you God for giving me enough money!" Then he looked at me and added "I asked yesterday before I slept for God to make sure I have enough money to buy this doll so that mommy can give it to my sister. He heard me! I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn't dare to ask God for too much. But He gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose. My mommy loves white roses." A few minutes later, the old lady came again and I left with my basket. I finished my shopping in a totally different state from when I started. I couldn't get the little boy out of my mind. Then I remembered a local newspaper article: 2 days ago, which mentioned of a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car, where there was one young lady and a little girl. The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the life-assisting machine, because the young lady would not be able to recover from the coma. Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the newspaper that the young lady had passed away. I couldn't stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was exposed for people to see and make last wishes before burial. She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest. I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed forever. The love that this little boy had for his mother and his sister is still, to this day, hard to imagine. And in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver had taken all this away from him. Now you have 2 choices:
