When I started writing LotR fanfiction, I was young and obsessed. I thought I was going to write all sorts of angsty, dramatic, pain-ridden stuff. This was not what happened. My humor fics were well-received (thank you), so I wrote those instead (and had fun doing it). It was a good experience. However, fanfiction is no longer consuming my life. You may have noticed. I've been busy doing RL things, and when I've not been busy, I've been writing a novel. (I'm into the second year of working on it. Sometimes I hate it, sometimes I don't. But it's been consuming my life instead.)
So, I don't know if I'm ever going to post any more fanfiction, let alone finish some of my stories. Sorry for disappearing. To those of you reading and reviewing, thank you. It always makes me so glad to know that I have managed to make someone laugh.
Likes (for assorted reasons -- I don't eat rats, but I do eat almonds): weather (of all kinds), almonds, fancy rats (and most small mammals, except for hamsters, see below), books, Mondays, creepy short stories, long black coats (especially ones that swirl a little bit), economics, knowing what time it is
Dislikes (also for assorted reasons): the word 'snuck', harmonicas, bad punctuation, hamsters, vagueness, being unprepared
Thank you for your votes on the poll! I know it's odd, but I'm interested in the results, which is why I've kept it closed so that it will be as accurate as possible. Further votes would be appreciated. Let me know what you think!

I've opened the poll so that everyone can see what's going on. Thanks so much for your votes!
49 of my stories are currently posted on this website, which is a lot, and I'm the sort of person who likes to organize everything into categories, so here goes:
Serious One-Shots (I do occasionally write them): Finding Faramir (which I wrote nearly 5 years ago, so be merciful) and Death (Arwen-centric -- I think she's underrated)
(Attempts at) Creepy Stories: Kiss (featuring Creepy!Legolas) and Red Ink (my favorite non-humor fic, even if it is completely weird)
Multi-Chapter: Trapped in an Elevator (an early attempt at multi-chapter humor), Celeborn's Club (which is very light reading, despite the eight chapters), Both Fang and Fire (a very odd, borderline Sue, in which a dog falls into Middle-earth and meets Glorfindel), Strange Alliances (about as long as novel, sometimes convoluted in a clever way but mostly convoluted beyond all reason) and Leave It to Beavers (my most recent update)
Cowritten: Traditional Recipes for Disaster (cowritten with the delightful Ithiliel Silverquill; ironically, she wrote the Erestor parts and I wrote the Glorfindel parts) and On All Hallow's Eve (cowritten with my friend Avalon Estel -- it can be found on her profile page)
Disney: Snow and the Seven Environmentalists (a random mish-mash of all things Disney)
The Wings Trilogy: The Great Balrog Conspiracy (Erestor's POV), Among the Mumakil (Glorfindel's POV)and Wyze Lies (both POVs)
Mirkwood Manor (AU): Looking for Work and Valentine's Day (two stories that feature Legolas without making fun of him!)
Whackiness in Imladris Series: Elf Up a Tree, Chaos in the Kitchen, The Marvelous Adventures of Frond
Poems: 'Two Burdens' (a serious poem), 'Grima's Grisly Mistake' and 'Pass the Palantir' (both violent AUs -- with morals!)
Blatant Parodies (in which I randomly CAPITALIZE some words -- so if this gets on your nerves, please avoid): The Legolas Story (parodying Legolas-centric fics), Aragorn's Average Adventure (parodying Legolas-Aragorn adventure stories), Estel's Happy Childhood (parodying Traumatized!Young-Estel fics), Just Like Old Times (parodying The-Fellowship-Reunites-for-Further-Adventures fics -- now much less common, from what I can tell)
Elrond-Centric (I dearly love Elrond -- he's my favorite Tolkien character): Return of the Ranger (second-place winner of the Mellon Chronicles 2006 Awards: Best Elrond Fun), All About Elrond (complete with the strangest running metaphor I've ever written), Happy Hunting, and Curse of the Elf and Ranger
Movie Related: One and Diversions (my most popular one-shot of all time, oddly enough)
Further Stories featuring Aragorn, Legolas, or both: Dilemma and Entombed! (both from Legolas's POV), Of Elf-Princes and Mortal Men (Legolas-centric, and featuring Bergil), Times of Trial (Aragorn's POV), Concluding Negotiations
Completely Randomly Weird (they have almost no plot)/Steampunk (they have modern technology in a Middle-earth setting): Faramir and the Never-Ending Story, Denethor and the Mithril Pea-Shooter, A Course in Facial Contortions, Happenings on the Road to Helm's Deep, Gimli's First Axe, One Fiery Day, The Coffee Plot, Celeborn Runs Away, Harold, Therapy
