Author has written 79 stories for Pokemon, Matrix, StarTrek: The Original Series, Star Wars, Mighty Ducks, StarTrek: Deep Space Nine, StarTrek: Other, Harry Potter, Misc. Movies, Back to the Future, Stargate: SG-1, and Stargate: Atlantis. Me and what I write: No matter what fandom I'm in, I write mostly gen. I don't have anything against ship or slash, but it doesn't really float my boat as far as writing goes. I prefer to focus on friendships between characters and the different levels of chemistry they have, and who they are as individuals rather than two people joined at the hip (or the groin, or any other positions they might try if they're feeling adventurous). I will read ship and a bit of slash, so long as they are well-written and the romance is not the center focus, as I actually find it somewhat boring. There is way too much cookie-cutter romance fic out there. I have written the occasional ship fic (mainly Daniel/Vala), although most of these have been due to special requests from close friends of mine. I will, very likely, never write slash. I don't think I will ever write Sam/Jack either, since I think they have the compatibility of a wet sock in a paper bag (sure, it might work out at first, but it would disintegrate sooner rather than later), but if you want to write it, go for it. I just won't read it. You don't have to read my stuff either, if you're against it for some reason. It's your perogative. Ain't free choice grand? I'm currently holding down a full-time job and have several other real-life responsibilities, so I probably won't update as frequently as some other people on the site. If you can write a chapter a day and upload it, good for you. I wish I had as much free time as you do. So please don't nag me if I don't update very quickly, as I can't help it. Current projects: I am also working on two Daniel-centric projects for the LiveJournal communities drabbles100 and 100_situations. In each community, I've been given a table of 100 prompts, and I have to write a story for each one of them. Once they are completed more fully, and once I come up with a series name for them, each of them will be posted here. I also have more than a few plotbunnies hopping around, including a potential sequel for Paws In the Moonlight, but none of them are anywhere near to developed and ready for writing. As far as my older fandoms go, I do plan to finish The Panther (Harry Potter) someday. I've gotten several offers to finish the story for me, and I appreciate the thought, but any offers will be declined. I will finish it on my own terms, exactly how I have it planned out, whenever my muses decide to cooperate. And when my job gives me time, of course.
