Sobre minhas fics...

BOB
Reler todos os mangás de "Fruits Basket" é uma aventura, misturar cenas Kyo/Tohru com Leon/Sora é um perigo conseqüente, e brincar de "Bob" não melhorou a situação. Uma hora ou duas de lição de casa negligenciada deram nessa ficlet. O essencial, creio, é que consegui reproduzir o Efeito Kaleido (vontade incontrolável de sorrir) presente no anime KS e no manga de Furuba.

CARTA DE AMOR
Minha primeira fic de KS, a mais curta até hoje, e uma da qual me orgulho muito. Devo dizer que sempre detestei a May e sempre a xinguei dos nomes mais feios que conhecia, mas depois de vê-la "comemorando" o papel principal de Sora em "O Lago dos Cisnes" não pude deixar de ter pena. Muitas análises de personágem mais tarde, percebi que ela é a personagem que mais sofre em KS, já que não há um final feliz para ela. May foi negada seu primeiro sonho, que era dividir o palco com Layla, depois deu tudo de si para chegar a estrela principal (e, segundo essa fanfic, se apaixonou por Leon no processo), sofreu uma lesão seríssima, não só física como também sentimental, para no fim das contas voltar a ficar em segundo plano, só mais uma artista na trupe (além de ser ignorada por Leon). O fato de ela ter aprendido o significado verdadeiro de amizade não subestimo, só é de minha opinião que May é extremamente injustiçada no campo afetivo e profissional. Imaginei então que, ao deixar o Kaleido Stage, ela gostaria de manifestar pelo menos parte dessas frustrações, e uma carta para o Leon foi a melhor maneira que encontrei para tal.

CHICHI-UE E NO OMOI
Re-post, antes sob o heterônimo Tickle. Não vou esconder que Sesshomaru é o personagem mais complexo, interessante e instigante do ponto de vista literário, ou pelo menos sempre foi a meus olhos. A cena de início de "Tenka Hadou no Ken" (belíssimo filme, diga-se de passagem) está entre as mais marcantes de toda a série InuYasha, não só por contemplar o nascimento de nosso heróico hanyou, mas principalmente por mostrar a frieza comunal entre Sesshomaru e Taisho, sendo que no resto do filme o que se observa é que nosso príncipe o amava muito. Ironia? Talvez culpa? Decidi escrever minha interpretação no formato de uma fic introspectiva, uma das melhores e mais difíceis a que me dediquei.

CONTOS DA ESCOLA DE CIRCO
Sem sombra de dúvida, minha fic mais espontânea: no dia de meu decimo sexto aniversário, em 2006, sonhei (isso mesmo, dormi e sonhei) com cenas difusas envolvendo Layla e Yuri. Durante os dois meses em que organisei e escrevi essas idéias a história se desenvolveu muito, transformou-se em "Café com muffins", e deixou de ser um one-shot para tornar-se o último capítulo dessa fic. Antes que percebesse, eu estava passando minhas aulas de física e biologia traçando voltas e meias de versões mais novas do meu casal favorito, rabiscando diálogos para capítulos que ainda não haviam sido escritos e me divertindo muito com isso. Acho que o produto final ameniza um pouco o relacionamento Layla/Yuri, mas isso não é relevante para que a fic seja muito boa, engraçada e uma que vale a pena ler e reler várias vezes. Aos atentos, percebam que há várias histórias sendo contadas, que há detalhes que se repetem e prevêem o fim e que a trama é circular.

É O FIM... NE?
"Como acaba a série de Inuyasha?" Estou certa de que todo fã já se perguntou isso, e as teorias e fics a respeito variam bastante. Poucas, no entanto, tentam fazer da situação algo engraçado. Essa foi minha idéia com essa paródia pouco inteligente e que vale um riso bobo ou dois.

SEGREDOS
Possivelmente, minha maior elocubração, sem fundamento algum e por certo nada compatível com minhas idéias quanto ao casal Layla/Yuri. Minha verdadeira intenção com essa fanfic era, no começo, demonstrar o quão grande é o poder transformador de uma criança, a magia que cada uma delas possui. A personagem de Sophie me veio bem fácil, com a aparência e personalidade que ostenta nos dois capítulos da história, e foi procurando uma vírgula entre os parágrafos em que Layla pudesse ser incluida que percebi a imensa semelhança entre a Layla criança de "Legend of the Phoenix" e a pequena Sophie. Depois de muito pensar e sob a inconfundível influência de minha outra fic "Contos da Escola de Circo", reestruturei a narrativa e os diálogos, inclui a figura irritante de Camilie (que não tem função alguma senão atormentar o leitor) e a simpática Antoinette Baudelaire, assim como destrui a imagem pacífica e passiva de Mr. Hamilton. O resultado foi dos melhores, e digo sem sombra de dúvida que "Segredos" foi uma das fics que mais gostei de escrever.

BALALAYKA
It annoys me that most CR fanfics treat Shane Gray and Joe Jonas as the same person, which they more than obviously aren't, so here I am writing some fanfic'ised character study to mark the difference as strongly as can be. I learned some interesting things through writing this story (and this must be, like, its fifth version), for instance, did you know that the initials of the Connect Three members almost spell "JoNaS"?

BLUE LAGOON
The Little Mermaid was on my mind throughout the first time I watched Camp Rock, so I guess this was inevitable. Also stupid, yes, but fun. I enjoy writing light stories now and then, helps me face life complications with a smile. Even if I'm the only one pleased by this pointless one-shot. Yep, this is me.

DISAPPOINTMENT, or WHAT A CORSAGE IS
I actually thought he was going to propose to her on that scene!! Anyways, some Troyella fluff for Zuu.

HOW D'YE TRY TO KILL JACK, THEN?
Late night, I was talking with a friend via MSN when she asked me, "Jack says in AWE that Tia Dalma tried to kill him, too, but did she?". This question settled on my mind in the most peculliar, you've-got-to-write-me way, so I just did something about it and, during the most boring possible cramschool class, started drafting this sweetheart of a fanfic. I know I suck at writing humour, but I had to give this a try, and grasping Jack's lunatic manner of speaking became more than a challenge; it was matter of life or death.

PROPERLY
This baby of a ficlet is a present for my ever so sweet little sister. Willabeth does not really suit my style, but I believe an author's strength lies in writting something in which he/she does not believe as well. Also, I had fun writing for the Governor and playing with Elizabeth's snoby friends, who happen to have the names of the Bennet girls from Jane Austen's "Pride and prejudice".

SCARS
The inicial idea was writing something canon, but Jack barged in and... J/W/E. Awkward, but I like it. Fitting, in a weird way, I guess. No given prompt to these two drabbles, only perhaps the title.

SEA TURTLE
Visiting the Tamar Poject in Bahia, it occured to me there had to be some truth to the sea turtle story. I was uninspired, bored and drunk in sea air and Piña Colada when I wrote this, that's why it's cute and entirely pointless.

SINGING IN THE RAIN
Sweetness has been lacking lately, so here it is! HSM fanfiction again! Not entirely happy about how this turned out - looks like a first chapter rather than a one-shot. Who knows, maybe... There are elements from "The Short-Doll PJ", but I've changed some details (such as in which floor of the house Sharpay's room is), so there's really no need to have read it in order to understand this one. Huge thanks to Zuu for the helpful beta!!

SHIP RULE
As a Sparrabeth shipper, I have absolutely no idea how I came to write a Sparrington, but I did, nevertheless, and believe it turned out quite charismatic. DMC was all about gaps for scene-insertion, and a moment of shared drunkenness between Jack and James seemed fitting, since they both pain over lost love (Elizabeth) to one another and to dear, brave William. This story was written with surprising ease and just flowed onto the paper sheet like water, so I am to hope it pleases not only me but my readers as well.

THE FIFTH BRETHREN COURT
Finally some Sparrabeth! Written to prompt #63 in potcfest - Jack at age 70. I must say, when I read the prompt, the title of this story and the plot slimply came to me (spooky, I agree), and I wrote it in record time - for me at least, a day is very little time to finish a piece. Many thanks to my sweet sister for the beta!

THE SHORT-DOLL PJ
My own PMS was killing me by the time I managed to find my PJ, so when I sat down (supposedly to finish "Redemption" published on my LJ only, but, well...) this fic just came along. I love Shar, I really do, and I feel amazingly better after having written it. Maybe I'm warming up for my sweetly huge Troypay project...
And another thing, English isn't my first or my second language, it's actually my third, and what I was taught was British English, not American English. I don't write "pajamas", I write "pyjamas", and I didn't even know "pajamas" existed until Microsoft Word told me so. Summing up, this is a story about an American girl written with my British lexicon. Un-beta'ed, and I prefer it this way. It's just akwardly me.
