October 20, 2009: Aloha! I'm in Hawaii right now for a conference and it is absolutely beautiful here! This time last month I was on a vacation in Japan where I explored Tokyo, Kyoto, Iga Ueno, Hiroshima, and Miyajima Island--very beautiful as well. There is an amazing amount of similarities between the two places. I've also noticed that there is a very high amount of Japanese Americans living in Hawaii and an even greater amount of Japanese tourists. So, Hawaii is an interesting mesh of the Polynesian, American, and Japanese cultures.

Now, as far as my writing is concerned there are still many works in progress. They are still works in progress and will all be until finished. I just hope that when that time comes all the fans of FFN haven't moved on past utilizing this awesome website! I know I haven't and it has now been six-and-a-half years since I first discovered this website!

May 25, 2009: Happy Memorial Day! I love it when I have a long weekend and don't have to waste any vacation days. I thought T4 was awesome (I also really enjoyed Wolverine Origins and Startrek earlier this month)! I love X-men and am a complete comic book junkie that likes to support all things Marvel. I've been into X-men since the 90s cartoon and it's never stopped. I also really like anime/manga. Got into that my senior year in college. My favorites include: Naruto, Bleach, Inuyasha, Samurai Champloo, Rurouni Kenshin, Blood , Kyou Kara Maou, and a few others here and there. I like to read and write fanfiction. I also like real books and actually wrote/published one about werewolves and such. I work full time in the field of medicine and am in my second year of Taekwondo.
