This is my list of who are my favorite crew members in One Piece! I'll update it if I end up changing my opinion later or they bring in a new crewmate. Also, just because a character ranks low on the list it doesn't mean I dislike them or hate them:

9. Sanji: However, this is the only exception. I hate Sanji and as the series progresses I end up hating him more and more. A little confession I need to make though is that he used to be my favorite character. In fact, I even supported the SaNa pairings. When I first saw the anime when I was a little kid, I looked up at Sanji. For some reason I really looked up at gentlemen and I still do today. I've learned most of my manners by seeing how these fake characters treated women. I saw that he was a bit perverted but it showed very little though it's probably because I was watching the 4Kids! dub and Naruto took most of the timeslots in Toonami making me miss tons of episodes. Now that I'm seeing the anime with no cencorship, I now know how perverted he really is. He puts women in front of nakama (like when he wants to give Luffy to the marines to collect his bounty for Nami), constantly overreacts putting the lives of his nakama at risk (making the New Fishman Pirates believe Nami is the weakest and begin to target her), and what he did in Punk Hazard is despicable! It was down right degrading to Nami and I sincerely hope (spoilers) that he chops his balls off now that she has the opportunity to do so since she is stuck in his body. Also one thing that pisses me off about him is how Zoro works his ass off in training to become stronger yet Sanji does not of that and he still keeps up with Zoro. You could argue that Luffy has the same problem but thing is, his strength is driven through willpower (I don't mean Haki) and that he rarely stops moving. This is the only character I hate more than the VILLAINS in the series.

8. Brook: I completely hate perverts but I don't hate Brook because he is a pervert with an excuse. Before we touch on that I'll talk about what I like about him. He is funny and his Skull Jokes makes me laugh all the time as well as the funny expressions he makes. He can get on my nerves sometimes yet his hilarious antics shadow that problem. His moves are cool and I always find myself grinning everytime Brook appears behind a pack of enemies while he sheathshis sword. I would say more about him but he has had the least character development out of everyone. So now, why is he a pervert with an excuse? he spent 50 years alone in a pirate shipwith no human contact. Even I would go crazy over women if I never saw one for 50 years and even then he only asks to see their panties. Sanji spent two years away from women and he loses it. It's true that they both share a few perverted moments together though they are very few.
