Hi, I’m the same sothereyougo as on Livejournal.

I’ve been here many times in the past to read stories and really enjoyed almost all of them but never signed up until now because it seems the fic-writing and fic-reading part of the American Horror Story fandom is maybe more active here, and I’ve recently written my first story in that fandom, although I’ve lurked here like a fiend reading the amazing fic it has inspired. I hope to be able to show some of those authors I’ve enjoyed so much some love now that I’m signed up.

So, I’m not a particularly lazy writer, but I do have a job and other responsibilities and occasional bouts of writer’s block, so I am a bit inconsistent in posting. I also have this tendency in my fandoms to have my OTPs but also a need to read and write the characters in other ‘ships including completely AU ones.

I guess I just like my favorite characters to be a bit generous with their fictional favors. I happen to think it’s the nicest thing imaginary pretty people can do for our entertainment. LOL I say all that to say that I write what interests me, sometimes to figure out my own theories of why certain characters hook up in canon or as part of pre-series or origin stories to speculate on characters’ backstories and sometimes purely for fun, and that means my pairings do sometimes veer from the realm of “what’s the most popular thing.”

So, if you happen to read and like a given story that I write but can’t bring yourself to read a different story with a pairing that just perplexes or bores you or makes you say, “WTF?”, that’s fine.

Also, not always, but there will be smut most of the time, which I usually try to give some emotion and meaning to, even if it isn’t always happy and sunny. Okay, enough blather. Ooh, I do indulge in the blather.

So welcome to Blather-town! For now, I’ll only be posting things to do with American Horror Story, but that could change.

Update Mar. 22, 2013: My other current obsession, and it's not new; it was just interrupted by the original actor's absence, is the soap opera character Todd Manning of One Life to Live and General Hospital. I think there may be a few Soap fans here, so I'm posting my Todd fic here too. (I don't know any Soap fans on LJ, but then my Friends List isn't very big.)
