Well, I've been officially bitten by the fanfiction bug, thanks to the untimely and anticlimatic death of one Severus Snape. I update literally as soon as I have new material, without even the pause that using a beta reader entails, so I hope I'll be forgiven if I am slow with one or two updates. (Pesky real life job and social obligations!) I also try to respond to every review, especially ones that contain real opinions. _ Other than that, I'm also a novice writer who hopes to one day become successful as a novelist, and a closet fanfiction writer and enthusiast.

I'm not too scary, so don't be afraid to corner me sometime and chat, if you get the notion.

Author Update: Gift is currently undergoing a major (offline) rehaul. I moved across the country, lost all my notes, and noticed-- upon re-reading the chapters I've posted-- a few plotholes that it would be absolutely ghastly of me to try to gloss over without significant re-writing. I hope you can all be patient with me as I'm going to take more care with it this time.
