Author has written 2 stories for Card Captor Sakura, and Naruto.

Updated 01/19/2009

Real Name:Not posting it here...

Hobbies: Reading, anime, writing, games, music, etc.

Disclaimer: Don't own any anime licenses or whatever, standard disclaimer and whatnot

Stories:
The Reawakening of the Mistress: Yeah, abandoned. Wrote myself into a circle that I'd have to restart to fix, mostly cause I lost my original notes several times due to a crappy laptop. Prolly never gonna touch it again, even if it was my first fic ever so Abandoned.

A Different Story: Used to be here, took it off cause I got annoyed by my lost notes and lack of interest. Abandoned.

Untitled Story 1: Killed. Plot was turning to pedestrian even before I started writing, and I didn't want to go that route. Abandoned.

Paradigm: Premise is that the Yondaime seals the Kyuubi into not one, but two vessels. It doesn't go exactly how he planned and Naruto winds up with someone in his head. WIP.

Progress:
Paradigm: Chapter 4 - Posted, Chapter 5 - 0 percent
Status: Chapter 4 is FINALLY up. MUAHAHAHAHA!! ahem! Now working on chapter 5. Going to need to plan lots of things to make sure I don't make a huge plot hole or whatever. Ugh, and school is getting busy too...

Personal Status: School is getting busy again. I hate school, but considering the current economy, getting some degrees would be nice. Now if only I could decide on a major...

Personal Stuff:

Yeah, I'm not the most talented writer in the world, but I think I make do with what skills I have. Heavens knows there are a lot of people that suck a lot more than me who post stuff, so I figure it wouldn't hurt for me to try too. I think of this as kinda a sandbox, where writers try to strut their stuff and learn through trial and error.

Hmm, I don't particularly have anything against gay people. Heck, yuri is hot! But maybe it's cause how I was raised, but I squirm in my seat when I see yaoi, so I tend to avoid it. I do hate it when writers take straight couples and make them gay though, especially when they really hate each other. I really don't understand that. The sheer amount of NaruSasu fics in the world boggles my mind.

I also think that people tend to romanticize evil bastards. Like in Harry Potter, Draco Malfoy is a complete asshole. What is it with people that makes them want to pair him with nice characters like Hermione? He'd kill her rather than kiss her! Draco is one of those guys that should just be locked away forever; he offers nothing good to society. What is it about evil that makes people like it? Seriously! I like anti-heroes and all, but getting the evil bastard guy to shack up with some cute girl is a strange hobby...

Religion I don't like so much. My grandmother is a devout Christian (or was it Catholic...?), so I've heard all that stuff when I was growing up. Its just it never made much sense to me at all. If there truly is a god, then he either doesn't care about us all that much or he's evil. And don't give me crap about how living is our trial or whatever, that's just blind faith. And any intelligent person knows how much damage blind faith can do. All those religious texts are written by human hand, so unless you believe god is a human, or that humans are completely infallible, then the religious texts are obviously untrustworthy. The religious groups themselves are corrupt, so there's no point in them really. Seriously, when churches start trying to sue companies for having a representation of a church in their products, then try to make a bunch of "laws" about games, then churches have gone to hell. Resistance: Fall of Man and the Manchester Church if anyone wants to look that up.

Politics? No interest. To me they're just glorified nobles of the old who argue just as much as nobles and get about as much done as them. None of them ever seem to be connected with your average citizen because they live a completely different style of life. Like the old nobles. Seriously, for all the government tries to make everyone believe that our government is different from past governments, its more similar than they'd like to admit. The same guys get shuffled in and out over and over, and they're the ones that tell us what laws can or cannot be voted on and stuff. I'm talking more about the high level guys by the way, the low level guys don't get paid as much from taxes and are more replaceable, so they tend to work harder.

I'm a musician, or at least I'd like to think I am. I passed advanced level for the piano certificate of merit test, so technically I'm supposed to be really good at it. But I passed it when I was in fifth grade, and I haven't really played it seriously since, so I'm probably lvl 7-8 right now. Cello I also play, and I actually think I play it better than the piano even though the last test I took was for lvl 7. Again, I haven't played it seriously for a while, but at least more than the piano. Been in a few orchestras, but nothing professional.

I'm Asian, but the language I'm most comfortable with is English. Supposedly I'm very good with it. I also speak and understand Mandarin and understand Taiwanese. Can't read or write either though. I can speak and understand Japanese, and am learning how to read and write. Can't say I can read most kanji, but I'm getting there!

I like games, like any other sane person. I own all the last gen consoles, and have a Wii, Xbox360 and PS3. Oddly enough, the games I play are mostly last gen, and I haven't finished a few of them.
Ones I need to finish are:
Edit: God, so many unfinished games! My backlog is so freaking huge! Took list down since it would take way too much space to list them all.

I read. A lot. Heck, I spend half my time reading. I play games because I like the stories. On average, if I have books on hand, I read 1.5 novels a day. Just to give you an idea of my reading speed, I went through the seventh Harry Potter book in five hours minus time to eat, bathroom, TV, and phone calls. So maybe 3-3.5 hours? Not the fastest reader in the world, but I'm pretty fast once I get into it. And I actually read the last 70 pages of the book twice, so yeah. I read anything, including those boring text books, though obviously I like fictional stories better. Fantasy and science fiction are the genre's I visit the most.

I read a lot of manga. I don't include manga under books, as there's a lot less text. I tend to stay away from the romance stuff, since after reading a dozen of those the plot seems to repeat itself. But otherwise I read just about everything else. If you've read it, I probably have as well.

Pretty much the same deal with anime. Any anime released from 2000 onwards I've probably watched, or deemed unwatchable. I picked up Japanese just so I could get anime as soon as it comes out. Waiting for the official versions just takes too long, though I do purchase those just to keep those companies in business.

I don't like American dubs. They seriously suck, I dunno why. They're fine in movies and in those kiddy cartoons, but when you put them into games or anime then they suck a lot. The voice actors just sound so stale. Canadian dubbers are actually a lot better than American ones, which surprises me a bit. I prefer subs over dubs, just because of the poor quality of dubs. I mean Naruto? "Believe it!" Seriously?! Dunno why, but I thought of hippies when I first heard that... Naruto as a hippy would just be strange.

Yeah, I'm not the nicest person in the world. Or at least I'm not the most polite. I'm quite blunt, though I do dance around topics very well when I want to. Sometimes, the level I'm blunt can be hurtful. But since I don't like to lie (I'm a crappy liar btw, I stumble over words and flush red when I lie), I think that if my words truly hurt, then the problem isn't entirely mine. I'm most polite when I don't say anything, which I tend to do just to avoid angering the wrong person.

I have a tendency to over-describe things. I don't like it, but I do. Generally I just tell myself to shut up when I think I'm saying too much. Unfortunately, my bad habit carries over to my writing in the form of rambling. It's fun to ramble, but it makes for an awful read. Most of the time.

Some favorite quotes that I like, or sit well with me, in as close to the original form as I remember:

Knowledge is power

Don't mistake malice for what can be explained by stupidity

After eliminating the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, is the truth

Entities should not be multiplied beyond necessity - AKA - All things being equal, the simplest solution tends to be the right one

Nearly all men can withstand adversity. If you want to test his character, give him power (Lincoln)

A woman is the only thing I'm afraid of that I know won't hurt me. Much.

Work is a necessary evil to be avoided

A priest, a rabbi, and a monk walk into a bar. The next day, they were all fired.

In a race between a snail, a turtle, and a rabbit, the one who arranged the race is an idiot.

99 of the people you meet will be stupid. Including you. (me)

It takes two to fight. Because if one guy doesn't fight back, its called a massacre.

Being happy is serious work.

Never assume. It makes an 'ass' of 'u' and 'me'

The goal of solving a problem isn't to find the answer. It's to understand the method. (poster outside of physics class)

Grace is courage under pressure. (poster outside of physics class)

Hmm, I'm prolly going to have to organize all of this eventually. Much of it is just my random ramblings in no order whatsoever. Maybe when I have time and feel less lazy than I usually do.
