Hey there! This is Spirit. I'm 18 (No, no drivers license yet--yes, i am just that pathetically lazy. I'm a good driver, i just need to take the steps to do it legally). Some stuff about me:

Lily and James-(I hope J.K.R will write more about them! I really like love/hate, and ones in which they start out as friends.)

Harry/Ginny-I don't read the fics, but really want them to end up together in the books.

Draco/Harry: I just find the idea extremely and utterly appealing.

Hermione/Snape-ARE YOU DEMENTED!

Harry/Snape- ...I find this disgusting. As in, I want to puke-disgusting.

Ginny/Tom-WHY! ARE YOU INSANE? HE'S A FREAKIN' DARK LORD!

Lily/OC-you have problems if you do this.

James/OC-oookaaaay...you have SERIOUS problems.

Spirit's Rants and Raves:

WHEN TWO CHARACTERS OF A STORY HATE EACH OTHER (L/J) WITH A PASSION AND THEN HOOK UP AT THE END OF THE CHAPTER (i read something like this): omg! i HATE when this happens, you know when there's yelling such as "i hate you" blah, blah, blah. The next thing we see is "Oh, she's kinda cute. maybe i'm in denial because her green eyes are amazing..." Then comes, "I think i've always liked you...i just never wanted to admit it to myself..." and then every time you see them they're making out and stuff. UGH! CRINGE

MARY-SUES: now concerning mary-sues...i don't entirely hate them. The ones i hate are the ones (most of them) in which a person is so beatiful, so nice, so funny, and everyone wants to be her friend/boyfriend or whatever. COME ON PEOPLE! but sometimes, there is that rare story in which people make themselves have flaws, like REAL PEOPLE SHOULD. FLAMES: Okay, i understand that not everyone is going like a story, but why spend time reading all of it if you're just going to write a flame at the end of the chapter? if you don't like it, fine, but don't have put down the other person, right? It seems totally pointless, and not to mention, extremely rude...

Spirit's Notes and News

September 4: Okay, guys this is REALLY important so I hope people read this. There is a person, who shall remain nameless, who accuses me of stealing her story. None of this is true, but she has threatened me quite roughly, and i'm worried she may report me and my story will be deleted. I don't know the entire process, but i really hope to report HER for threatening me the way she did. So, if my story gets deleted...you'll know why. But i'm going to try and prevent it, so i'll do the best i can.

AUGUST 22: MY STORY GOT DELETED! I can't BELIEVE "Wedding Day Jitters" is gone. That makes me so sad, because i really liked that story. I'm tempted to repost it, but i don't want to get in trouble. Oh well, at least some people got to enjoy it while it was there.

AUGUST 29: Hey, people! I am so happy over theresponses that i've gotten for Chapter 16! I'm glad everyone enjoyed the long awaited confrontation with Lily and Derek. Also, thanks to everyone who answered my poll. I know what i'm going to do about it now. The story is beginning to wind down, and i realized that i'm going to be very sad when it ends. I am literally going to miss every single person that reads it. But anyway, here's the line up for what will be happening in the next few chapters, in no particular order:

- Lily and James will switch back

-Parker and Sirius will go on their date

-Sirius will become suspicious about "James's" (who's really Lily) behavior

-Lily and James will kiss (YAY!)

BUT THAT WON'T BE THE END! No, the story won't be like, "And they kiss and everything was right in their world!" I mean, they're still getting use to being friends, and James is only beginning to adjust to finding Lily attractive, and kissing isn't going to suddenly make things easier for them. That's just not my style. True to the natures of Lily and James, they just can't go too long without a disagreement, and there willbe a small bit of drama that follows. But don't worry; it won't be rediculously drawn out or anything. It'll most likely only be about one chapter. So all in all, the story should be around 20 chapters total.

By the way, i'm not sure how many people read this page, but to those that do, i have a question: If I were to go back and re-post edited chapters on my story, after the whole thing is finished, would that delete all my reviews for that chapter? I'll just ask this question on the next chapter of AWIYS. With that said, I hope everyone has a good first day back at school this week. Look on the bright side: Only 180 days left!

November 3: Wow. Senior year is completely eating up my time right now. With college applications, SAT studying, final studying, AND homework, I have had barely any time to write. Seriously, Chapter 16 of my story has barely been started. Luckily, a few days ago, I forced myself to take some time out to start it, and it's in a good place right now, so I'm happy. I have no idea when it will be up, though. Hopefully by Christmas, but as soon as i can! Thanks for everyone's patience!

December 6: So...nothing's changed about my time being taken up by senior year, but i promise you I WILL NEVER ABANDON THIS STORY. I could never do that, so don't worry, that's not going to happen, even if this does take a while to finish. Well, I just had my 18th birthday...i'm an "adult" now (well, legally at least; mentally? That's a whole different story ;) I'm steadily making my way accross chapter 17 on AWIYS, but i've still got a ways to go, considering both time and the fact that i'm not entirely sure on what i'm putting into it. But FEAR NOT! It shall come, and when it does, it will be worth it (actually, that's up to you to decide, butI think it's worth it). So, with that said, happy holidays in advanced!

February 17: Okay, chapter 17 is moving really slowly because of my time restrictions. Since I haven't updated since August, I've decided to post what I have, since it could be a chapter all on it's own, and then write the rest as chapter 18. It's much shorter than my usuals--only about nine pages. But it think that's better than just letting guys go even longer. So...I'm going to attempt to do it today, i just have to write an ending to the chapter. Please excuse any typos. I'm going to correct it later, I promise.

A/N: Hey, people! Thanks to every single person out there that reviewed and gave me their opinions. Both Choices “C” and “D” (Remus and Sirius find out; Stays between Lily and James) seemed to be tied as the most popular. And because I don’t want to let you guys down, I decided on a solution that should (I really hope) give everyone the best of both worlds when it comes to who finds out or whether it stays between Lily and James. BUT NONE OF IT WAS MY IDEA!

That is why I owe a MEGA MONSTROUS thank-you to MOONING-OVER-MOONY! You have no clue how much your idea helped me. It’s exactly what I’m going to do, except for one part that I’m going to add, and I don’t think I would have come to that idea if it weren’t for you. If I was making money off of this I would totally give you some of it. But, since I’m not, you’ll have to settle for a big hug (an imaginary one, anyway grin), my eternal gratitude, and the satisfaction that you had a hand in writing this story. I’d also like to dedicate this chapter, and the one in which Lily and James will be confronted, to you. I hope that’ll make you happy.

A few quick things:

Pink Sprinkl3s: First of all, thank you so much for asking permission. That’s really considerate of you and I appreciate it. Okay, hmm...I’d like a bit more clarification. Are there any details of mine you’d want to use? Would they (Lily/James) be in any of the same specific situations? i.e.: how Lily has to transform, that they get switched by a song from Peeves, the details of James’s date, Lily’s semi-ruined reputation…? If it’s nothing like that, and you want to write a story where Lily and James switch and then make it your own, then by all means, go ahead! It’s a completely neutral subject that isn’t copyrighted or anything, so have fun with it! I’m glad that my story gave you an idea. Have fun!

TO CLEAR UP SOME CONFUSION: I’m sorry to confuse you! Now that I think of it, I should have made that part clearer. Remember when Lily first found out about the rumor and Remus then said something like, “Lily, he doesn’t care about you now?” He was actually talking to JAMES, who he thought was Lily. I should have added something like, “He turned to James and said…” I hope everyone understands now.

Also, to the individual(s) who want the fic to end because they think the switching thing “gets old” (and, yes, I know it can.): If you had read my note on the last chapter, you would have known that I plan to actually end the story in a few chapters. As I’ve said numerous times, the last thing I want to do is drag this out and I’m not going to. It shouldn’t go past 20 of them, 21 at most. In other words, Lily and James will switch back within the next 2 chapters or so. So, there you go. Happy?
