Hey there people!

My name is Katelyn, I'm 26 years old and currently live in Washington, DC, where I'm earning my Master of Fine Arts in Film and Electronic Media. In my free time (ha ha; what's that?), I enjoy reading, writing, watching movies, especially horror and OF COURSE watching the wrestling!

I love reading fan fiction. I think that the stories and pairings that other people come up with are incredibly creative. I'm not a big reviewer; I've been working to change this. Couple of stories I'm reading now that I recommend:

"Goodnight Lita" by Jemima Flute--great Kane/Lita story; this is my favorite story on this site

"Darkness" by odalys-ortiz--very well-written and addictive Batista/OC story

"The Beat Of My Heart" by AshlynnxHearts--very sweet John Morrison/OC story

Well, now that we're all accquainted, let's move on to the important stuff...

1) BATISTA

--The end-all, be-all for me. The man is strong, confident, sexy as hell...I could go on in this vein for another paragraph. When he comes down to the ring in a suit...sigh.

Additional Note: As a female Batista fan, I'm well aware that I'm part of a rapidly-dying breed, especially after that damned book came out. So, for the record, here's my opinion: I didn't like some of the things that he said (the vacuuming comment comes to mind). But I think he went into this thing wanting to tell the whole truth, knowing that it would turn a lot of people off. He said a lot of things that most of us didn't want to hear. And I walked around the house for three days, thinking about all the things in that book that I hated. Finally, I just decided that either I could let it eat away at me, or I could get over it. So I got over it. And I'm still an Animal lover. So either accept it or not, because that's pretty much where my view on this subject is going to stand from now on.

2) TRIPLE H

--The reason I started watching Raw. If Batista is number one on the list, then the Game is number two. Love him or hate him, you gotta respect Triple H.

Triple H note: I like the guy, I really do. But I think that right now, he's starting to fall into that whole "absolute power corrupts absolutely" thing, and it's making him think that he's the overlord of the locker room. I love his personality, but I hate his backstage attitude.

3) CHRIS JERICHO

--He wasn't on the list earlier because I assumed he wasn't coming back...oh me of little faith. I was a Jericholic LONG before I was anything else, including an Animal Lover. He is badass, he is the MAN, and he IS Raw (now Smackdown). Long live the Second Coming of Y2J!

4) JOHN CENA

--To tell you the truth, I didn't really like him at first. But since then, he has grown on me. The man has a ton of integrity, a ton of heart, he's easy on the eyes...in short, he is for real.

John Cena comment: I know that it's trendy nowaways to hate John Cena; I can't really see the point. I look at it this way: the guy is articulate, nice, has a great work ethic, and never fell into that whole mess of steroid suspendees. I mean, we have to see JBL wrestle with no shirt on, and we're going to judge JC for being a little one-note in his wrestling technique?

5) EDDIE GUERRERO: RIP

--God, I miss Eddie so much! I was so upset when he passed away. Love him or hate him, he never failed to make you care about him. As Trips said, "He's up there lying to somebody, and he's cheating somebody...and he's stolen all of our hearts." RIP

6) REY MYSTERIO

--The reason my sister watches wrestling. I love Rey; he's amazing to watch, and I love the way he interacts with kids at ringside.

7) SHAWN MICHAELS

--Maybe it's just because I'm old and decrepit, but I really respect this man's integrity and faith. Not to mention that he was part of DX...Did anyone else cry when he looked at Ric and said "I'm sorry. I love you."? Because I was bawling like a baby, and I was just watching the HIGHLIGHTS! And then that tribute on Raw...geez! I sobbed for twenty minutes!

8) STEPHANIE MCMAHON

--I heart Steph! I don't care if she's a bitch, I think she's awesome and kickass! Hope Aurora's doing great and congrats on the new addition!

Also, RIC FLAIR(Thank you for 36 wonderful years! WOOOO!), LITA, TRISH, MATT & JEFF HARDY, 'TAKER (16-0, baby), CM PUNK, JOHN MORRISON (I hate those pants he wears--is Melina still dressing him?), SANTINO MARELLA ("open up a can of the ass whip..."), ASHLEY MASSARO, MICKIE JAMES, BETH PHOENIX, EVAN BOURNE, KOFI KINGSTON, MELINA (never thought I'd see the day, but here we are), CANDICE MICHELLE

WRESTLERS I HATE

1) EDGE

--God, will this man NOT shut up? I hate this cougar relationship he has with Vickie Guerrero...God, every time I see them on screen together, I throw up a little bit in my mouth. I HATE the storyline, I HATE HIM for agreeing to do it. Grow a spine, you fucking coward!

2) RANDY ORTON

--I was always on the fence with him, but that changed when he said those disgusting things about Eddie Guerrero a few years ago. Since then, he's gone from dumb but harmless to the Antichrist, not to mention that he turned up on a steroids mailing list without any repercussions.

3) MICHELLE MCCOOL

Ordinarily, I'd be a little more forgiving toward one of the Diva Search girls, but the more I watch, the more I find I just don't like her. Maybe it's the fact that she tried to tell Natalya Neidhart how to wrestle, maybe it's the fact that she felt compelled to strap that ugly-as-hell belt around her waist whenever she comes down to the ring...either way, I'm not a fan.

OTHERS THAT AREN'T WORTH A WRITEUP: GREAT KHALI, THE MIZ, LAYLA, KELLY KELLY (she pretends to wrestle! Oh, how adorable!) VLADIMIR KOSLOV, MARYSE (she is fast becoming the new Melina for me, minus the talent. Thank you, Maryse, for proving that the Diva's Championship really means nothing after all!)

Okay, what am I working on now?

1) The sequel to my first story (You Were Meant For Me), entitled "All I Want Is You"; Batista/OC pairing--currently on HIATUS

2)"Everything You Can Never Be"; Randy Orton/Ashley Massaro pairing.

3) "Let Me Fall"; Jeff Hardy/Melina Perez pairing

4) AU story; a vampire love story featuring the pairing of Batista/Mickie (Love them! Love them!)

With my schedule the way it is now (work 3 days a week and class on 3 other days a week), I really only have time to update one story a week. Once the semester ends next month (December), though, I should have some more free time, which is great, b/c I have a number of stories and one-shots in development and I hope to get them out there.
