Updates

6/6/09
Hey guys! Guess what--I'm baack! Yes, I have finally returned to writing fan-fiction :). I guess I just couldn't stay away from it. I posted a new story yesterday called Shades of Red. It's a Zelda story, a Malink to be specific, although the whole plot isn't centered around just their relationship. I've got a lot planned out for this story, and know where I want to go with it, so I hope that picks up some readers and I hope you all like that! Also, if you look below in the stories sections, you'll get some updates on what's going on with all my other works. So if you're curious about any of that stuff, then go check it out. In the mean time, I hope you enjoy Shades of Red!

The Stories- important, massive update 6/6/09

Hey guys! I've decided it's about time for me to give you a massive update on what's going on with all of my (mostly uncompleted) stories. Before I begin, let me say that I know that all of those stories down there are pretty awful. I read them over the other day and my eyes nearly bled. It was sad. But in my defense, they were written around the time when I was 11-14 which was when I really didn't know how to write. Well, now I'm 17 and I actually know what I'm doing. You'll notice my writing style has changed a lot and I'm hoping for the better. I said all that mainly to say that I really hope any new readers that come by don't get turned off by my writing after reading some of my older stories. Those are not good reflections of how I write now. Anyway, now that I've got that out of the way, here's the news on the stories!

Shades of Red- My newest and favorite story at the moment. I don't really have any breaking news for this one, just that I think you all should read it :D. It'll probably be around 20ish chapters, and it's going to be what I'm working the most on out of all of these. Basically, I hope you enjoy it.

The Plague- This is a story I had an idea for a long time ago, but I was never really able to figure out what I wanted to do with it. At the moment, I'm still brainstorming on where to go with it. I've had some ideas, but nothing that makes me really want to start writing it again. When I do figure out and detail the actual plot, I'll probably end up revising the first chapter or completely repost it. So sorry if there's anyone who wanted to see that updated, but it isn't going to be for a while.

Forgotten- Okay so I was re-reading this, and I was thinking. This actually isn't such a bad story. I kind of have a desire to continue this. And I will. But, there's a catch. While reading it, there was one thing that did bother me, and it was that the story is fan-fiction. I really do like the plot and know where I want to go with the story (I think), but I also think that it would work better as an original fiction rather than a fan-fiction. This is mainly because I think the plot is way too far-fetched to be fan-fiction anyway, and it would be loaded with OC's, so why not just make it my own work? So, in a way, I'm plagurizing myself (if that's even possible...). I'm sorry if there's anyone who is upset by this news, but that just the way it's going to be. I'll probably get working on it sometime later in the summer, and I'll make sure I post an author's note up on there to let you know when the new version is posted on fictionpress.

Slowly Drawn Together- You may have noticed the 'discontinued' in capital letters stuck right at the end of the summary of this story. Well, that speaks the truth because that specific version of SDT is never going to be continued. Why? Simply put, it's crap. However, that doesn't mean SDT is completely dead. I promised a rewrite before, and I like to keep my promises. Slowly Drawn Together is currently in the process of being rewritten. The plot is completely different, but believe me, it's a lot better. It will also continue to feature some of your favorite characters such as Maku and Zuku, but they will also be seen in a new light. Keep checking back for the repost! I hope you guys are as excited about that as I am :D

Completed Works

Cooking with Garet

Sugar Cookies and Blackmail (may be rewritten)

Upcoming

Slowly Drawn Together: A Rewrite & Sing For Me (a Malink oneshot)

Keep checking back for more updates! :D
