Author has written 5 stories for Lord of the Rings.

12/21/2005: There. I've posted the good stuff. Now I'm posting the non-so-good stuff. We'll see if I have the nerve to continue.

11/24/2005: I still follow the LOTR fandom, but not as religiously as I used to. As a fond farewell to active status (as active as I ever was) I plan to post whatever snippets of fic I have not yet posted from those wonderful days, either here or on my LiveJournal: good, bad or indifferent; complete or incomplete; book canon, movie, AU or complete silliness. Feel free to comment or not, as you will. Thank you for everything. It's been such fun!

1/19/04: I now have a LiveJournal! Pop on over and visit sometime. I plan to preview bits of fic there, but just warning you all--if I post something there, it's because there isn't anything more, and may never be anything more. Sigh. I so envy those of you blessed with a fertile imagination!

9/30/2003: Hi. I'm one half of a different alias that has been around a while, but has posted at a glacial rate. Those of you who've read the WIP over there will recognize my alias, and know at once who I am (if my writing style doesn't give it away.) Permilea will be for THAT alias' "lazy" fics. It's rather an experiment. We work so hard on the other alias' fics it's almost painful (heck, why do I qualify it? It IS painful). I thought a less-strenuous alias would be a way to relax, and get writing back to being fun again. Permilea will hold those tales or ficlets that are only lightly beta-ed by the other half of THAT alias, if at all. I'm keeping them distinct because, despite the blood, sweat and tears, I'm rather proud of what comes out of that collaboration, and these won't be anything like those! (It may, in fact, become an object lesson in why a good beta is such a wonderful thing!)

By the way, "Permilea", which delighted me the instant I heard it because it struck me as so perfectly hobbity, is actually the first name of a many-times-great-grandmother of a co-worker of mine.
