Hi, I'm Harm Marie. Well, not really, but you get the point. This site has been my guilty little pleasure since I was in high school and I love reading what's here. I am also a writer who is (hopefully) improving with age and practice. I have a lot of one-shots and use a lot of poetry in my early work. Mostly because I write that too. I do also have an account on Twisting the Hellmouth with a different name (MariaLucas), though almost everything there is here too.

I should probably explain my thought process and writing style on some of my stories. Sometimes inspiration hits, and not always in chronological order. These stories (like Given Name and Improbable Truth and An Act in Two Parts) are complete, as marked, to a point. I could leave any one of them where it is and feel that the story is finished, but like I said, sometimes inspiration clubs me over the head and I want to add something new to an existing story. The problem is that my mind jumps around a lot and I can't always focus on the story I should be focusing on, then something new will pop in and needs to be written down. I am trying to overcome this with Leaving Kansas but I find myself working on the story's sequel instead. Rest assured, I do know where that story is going to end up, I just need to get it there. It will happen...eventually.
