~Me, Myself and I~

After being inspired by SMUncensored I decided to jazz up my profile a bit, let’s try and be a bit tad more informative shall we?

Well my name is Sarah. I’m a Londoner with Brown hair and grey eyes (they change colour depending on my mood), with a curvy figure and I’m about average height. I’ll never be a size zero (not that I want to be), so you can forget trying to change me.

Since I’m a Gemini I tend to have multiple personalities (not literally); at work I’m slightly reserved, conscientious, well behaved and hard working. At home and with friends I’m more open, forward (speak my mind a lot with little regards to consequences) loving and protective of those I care about. So I change depending on my social environments. I consider myself easy to talk to and always willing to help out someone in need, although I’m uncomfortable making small talk with people I barely know as more often then not it goes to “awkward silence mode”. I’m sarcastic 80 of the time and quite cheeky! I think too much (or not enough…) but am too lazy to write down my thoughts most of the time. I’ve always acting older than my actual age, leading many people to mistake me many years older than I actually am.

I didn’t used to like myself and used to think of how I could change myself to be more perfect, be more of the well-rounded adult, but I’m afraid there’s no such thing and since hitting the 20’s have come to accept who I am both emotionally, mentally and physically.

I’m not a girly-girl. You won’t see me wearing pink at all, I despise that colour. I’m not fond of make up either. I only started wearing skirts/dressed (which is odd, but getting used to it), and have just started to bear shopping, only when I’m absolutely desperate though, any other time I get bored easily.

My first 2 loves were computer game and television shows, and it still applies today. I own about 10 home/hand consoles and currently have about 15 TV programmes series linked on my Sky box. I’m more of a home console fan; I enjoy playing RPGs, platform, beat-em-ups and Survival Horror games. As for television programmes; supernatural, adventure and comedy are the way to go; I hate reality programmes and don’t tend to like war/legal/crime programmes (although Criminal Minds is an exception). I also love anime (although I haven’t watched as much as I used to), manga, asian films, writing and reading.

I currently work for the television company GMTV (part of ITV) in the children’s department. I make promos for broadcasting as well as structure the schedule. I never went to university and only did 1 year of 6th form so I’ve been working since I was 17…and have enjoyed every minute of it. I aim to be a producer (of what I’m unsure still) although I highly enjoy making promos and wish to experience making a music video one day.

Taking it back home I live with my loving mother (who I’m very close to) and my teenage brother Daniel, and in the house about 15 minutes from where I live is my father, step mum and my youngest 2 half brothers. I’m closet to Daniel (naturally-knowing him all my life) but I try to be a good sister to my littlest brothers whose ages are still single figures.

In regards to my love life; I’ve been with my boyfriend, Andy, for 3+ years and as far as I’m concerned I can’t see it being any different in the future. He’s currently at university at Totnes, Devon. Sometimes it’s hard maintaining a long distance relationship but we’re still together, growing strong. He aims to be an ‘entertainer’ as he likes to call it, a combination of actor and singer whilst also getting involved behind the cameras.

I started this account a while ago to put up a joke of a story, but it slowly turned into my creative dumping ground. I haven't properly updated or uploaded a story in a while. But I have several drafts and ideas within my head, a few are in my documents on my PC. Whether they'll live to see the light of day is a mystery...
