Hello all!

Finally back into the fanfic world after a few years absence.

I am finally attempting a new story after many years. I most likely require a beta reader, but am going to first attempt to publish until i find one. We'll see how it goes and hopefully it won't be complete rubbish.

I've suffered from a severe writers block for many many years and it appears to have finally lifted. YAY ME!

I know how aggravating it is to be reading a story only to find out it's not done, so I will finish it. I promise. :)

Update on "Hourglass" - reviewing and editing the chapters I have already published since it's been awhile and i need to re-acquaint myself with the story. Still haven't found my notes for the story, but i'm determined to get my butt moving and update soon. (09/20/09)

On a side note: I have some fantastic authors saved into my favorite authors area. I would suggest checking some of their stuff out. I have to eventually go through and clean up my favorite stories area, as some are extremely old and haven't been updated in ages and probably will never be completed, so not much point in keeping them there. (if someone hasn't updated in three years, not much hope of them updating again).

I have also started a C2 group for abandoned stories. (Basically, I'm just removing the stories i have in the "my favorite story" section and archiving them in the C2 so they don't clog up space in my profile. Snape/Harry fics..not too fond of slash fics, but if they aren't nasty and they are well written, I'll read it.
Star Trek: TNG - not too many good fics out there, in my opinion, but I am a huge fan of that show, if you have a good one tho, feel free to let me know and I'll check it out.

Dislikes:

Disgusting fics..ones that go into gory details about torture, self-mutilation, etc. I don't like movies like that and I don't like reading about it either.
Made up characters: For the most part, I don't like the whole "mary sue" as people call them. A character that is made up, but isn't integral can be good, but I dislike stories that focus on some random person made up and put into the HP world as a main character. I can think of a few stories, however, that did have side characters that were made up and were perfectly fine, but there's a line that needs to be drawn sometimes.
