1. Lance Walker

Real Name: Mark Sinclair

Birthday: Feb 15 (Day he and his sister was found by his first parents.)

Description: Lance has Messy, Black hair and the darkest shade of red eyes you've ever seen.. He wears a Black Leather Jacket with two outlines, one being a golden on the back, along with a White muscle T-shirt underneath. He also wears a pair of denim jeans (something I'd never touch), and Black sneakers. He also wears a pair of fingerless gloves.

As his 14-year-old version, he wears the typical Lazarus Academy male uniform a button-on shirt with regular pants. the shirt is black with a red outline. The emblem is a blue shield with a lion standing on top of a ribbon that says "Lazarus" on it.

Abilities: Lance can control the elements to his every whim, and has no fear of using them whatsoever in order to get his job done. While he can shoot out flames with various colors which vary in stregnth. (Black flames are his strongest and White Flames can have a healing effect if Lance decides it to, otherwise, their just as strong as the black flames.) It should be noted that he likes to stick with his grey flames, as they are a utilize a suitable power balance. Note that said powers will manifest themselves in the new KOF fic that I have posted. He also is a psychic, but he refuses to use those abilities except in emergencies.

Background: Although he thinks he was born as Mark Sinclair to an American man and a Japanese woman, he, along with his younger sister, Hikari, were actually found by them. (He eventually figured this out on his own due to what he tends to dream at night.) The father was an up and coming archaeologist, and was away often. Their mother was a famous fighter pilot known as the "Sky Goddess", who fought in a conflict known as the "Prophet's War". Before they were found, the parents had already given birth to two other children, Matthew, the eldest brother, and Kimi, the middle daughter. Over the 6 years that the three were raised, it became increasingly evident that they had powers that were not of this world. For example, they had control over the elements of the world on Hikari's part, but both would have amazing psychic powers. (He eventually learned the elemental control ability, and mastered it over time.)

Despite these, they cared about them until they were supposedly killed when the children were six. Lance, Matthew, Kimi, and Hikari were the only ones who were believed to have survived the incident, but they were somehow separated from each other. Matthew was the only one who remained with him. He barely remembers anything from what happened other than some sort of void sucking the children in. A keepsake that was sucked in with him was an artifact from one of his father's excursions. A sword called "Sonzai no Tsurugi". Translated, it means the "Sword of Existence."

For six months, he wandered. Somewhere along the way, Matthew was supposedly killed. Lance is the only one who knew the circumstances behind his death. Eventually, he was found by a police officer during his rounds, and put in an orphanage where he spent two years living there before he was adopted by the Walker family and renamed as Lance Walker. His new family wanted a son to take care of, and they thought he fit the bill.

He personally trained his body, learned several Martial Arts, and honed his skills using the sword up to and past the point where he was admitted to the prestigious "Lazarus Academy". His adventures have continued since then.

Personality: Although Lance acts like he treats the world as one huge thrill ride, he has a good heart and will not stop until he gets his job done. He cares for his family and friends. Lance isn't one to anger easily, (Unless it is from a rather sensitive subject, such as his parents' death) When bored, he acts disinterested in a lot of things

Faults (I'm trying to avoid the Mary Sue problem): Lance has a weakness for smoking, although it is more on again/off again than anything else. Also, at times, he tends to run his mouth like a car. A trait that has gotten him in trouble in the past. It should be noted that Lance's flames can overtake other flames just as other flames can overtake it. It's all a matter of who shoots first. Also, strangely enough, Lance is deathly afraid of dragons. Not even he can explain it, he just does.
