Author has written 7 stories for Resident Evil, Joan Of Arcadia, X-Men: The Movie, and Fatal Frame.

Gidday.

Thanks for taking a peek at my corner of the net-world, tucked away and forgotten though it might be. All of a sudden I pop back into existence and fade away again as the real world begins to drag me down like so much quicksand.

I'm from New Zealand, and although I've have the luck to travel to Italy, Greece and Japan there are many other places I want to visit. Not that travel is likely to occur anytime soon for me, though - I have two and a half years of university to go, and then I will be a fully qualified speech and language therapist, and I will have to get to work to pay off my student loan, and then work will want me to actually work, and then I won't be able to go anywhere for a while. Such a viscious cycle. I do enjoy my studies though, so it could be worse.

Currently I work part time (around doing my studies) at the movies. I complain about it a lot, but it's pretty sweet work, the people are cool, and I enjoy the free movies.

Time for some VITAL FACTS!:

Name: Your Lord and Master... err, Nikki.

Gender: I am WOMAN

Age: 19 in five days!

Education: I have studied classics, english, japanese, maths, general science and history to bursary level. At university I have studied psychology, linguistics, acoustics, and communication disorders. As you can probably tell, communicating is a big part of my studies. This includes lecture after lecture on grammar, pronunciation and hearing. Sometimes I can be picky, but usually I can't be bothered.

Fandoms: I adore Resident Evil, Project Zero, Silent Hill, Star Wars, the Matrix, Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, Bryce Courtenay, X-Men, John Marsden and a million other things that have escpaed my mind at the moment. I jump back and forth from the different categories like the fandom whore I know myself to be.

Pet Peeves: people who tell my language is lazy because I speak like my nation, stupid, inconsiderate, uncompassionate people, running out of caffiene, getting cigarette smoke blown into my face, girls who give my boyfriend the eye, forgetting how to spell words, handing in assignments, being late, waiting for ages at fast food restuarants, coworkers who slack off, managers who are unnecessarily angry, my till not balancing, and on we go

Things I love: parks, holidays, chocolate, strawberries, bacon, someone making my lunch for me, watching movies or videos, cuddling, sleeping in late, the buzz you get when you finish an assignment at three in the morning, reading, writing, witty conversations, making people laugh, my course.

For people who I have reviewed - if I miss a chapter or two, or even flat-out stop reviewing, it's not because I don't like you, your story, or your style. In fact, I probably love all of the above (or I wouldn't have reviewed in the first place) but I'm busy and chronically lazy. If you would like me to review, let me know. The PM button below can get you far. Also, if I have left a review that you consider offensive, know that I didn't mean to cause you any personal damage. Sometimes I don't think about how what I write can sound to someone who has never met me before.

ADDITIONAL: This is just a quick update to say that I haven't been getting any FF.net emails. I have no idea why this is. Just so you know, I don't get author alerts, story alerts, review replies, PMs or even reviews for my own stories. I'm sorry about this, but don't know how to fix it. I also don't know how long ago this happened. Anyway, if you'd like to get in contact with me or tell me that you've updated a story and whatnot, please send me an email or add me to your msn; grooveyflower88@hotmail.com
