Hey there! I joined fantiction.net on, i think, October 12, 2002? But like you care. Um, I live in the USA, in Minnesota to be precise. I love to write, and I've written a few short stories, none of which i have even tried publishing, since I am still an amateur writer, and, to me, not outstanding. So, I tried to give it a shot on Fanfiction, and it didn't really work, because I still need to work a LOT on developing my writing style. I love LOTR. It is my fav movie trilogy and book series. Sadly, I don't know much of the languages of Middle Earth, so if I do put any Elvish in there, it will be pretty basic, like mellon nin (my friend). I really wanted an Elvish to English dictionary, but I'm not sure where to get one. Barnes & Noble is always so EXPENSIVE(cha ching!), so I don't usually go there to get books. Anyone know of a good book store where I can go get an Elvish to English dictionary for a good price? It would really help. Another thing: I'm a Christian, and enjoy writing about the Lord. That's where I'm focused at the moment, so look for my poems and such in the "Bible" section under books. I also LOVE Harry Potter, and I tend to spend a lot of time reading those fanfics. UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE! (05/20/07)

Well...I changed my name from childofgod_4ever to Katia0203 because it's my new nickname :) Anyway, I recommend that none of you look to my stories for any type of inspiration or example of good writing style. Really, I wrote most of these when I was still a crappy writer (except for the new Odyssey one, which I just wrote). Someday, I hope to rewrite all of them and finish them to completion because I love the premise of them. My problem is, I have so many ideas scurrying around in my head, but once I get the beginning down, I run out of ideas/steam to keep them going. It is a fault, and I won't write anymore long fics until I can figure out how to fix that.

The time I spend here on this site is all focused on reading great stories. I just want to be entertained/amazed by someone with real talent, and I know I can find that here. I occasionally review if I really like something or have a suggestion, but most of the time I am just a "silent reader". Like I said, I don't want anyone to get the idea that I'm a great writer, because I'm just not there yet. Oh, and this isn't some cue for you all to start pming me, saying things like, "No, you're not that bad, I love you!" I just want to be honest with you.
