Author has written 25 stories for Ranma, Escaflowne, Fullmetal Alchemist, and hack/SIGN. Why are my updates sporadic? There's a couple of reasons, but the main ones right now are that I've developed carpal tunnel syndrome and mild arthritis in my pinky fingers. It hurts to type too much so writing isn't much of an option at the moment. I'm a married late twenty-something woman living in the Northeastern Ohio area. I've been an anime / manga fan for nine years and I've been writing fanfic for eight. I also play a lot of video games, run toy panels at anime cons, cosplay weird things, and take care of two rats, a cat and whatever video game raising / breeding sim has taken my fancy lately. I work on and off as a temp doing secretarial or data entry work. My husband is Ryan Mathews, who was the first to post anime fanfiction on the Internet, way back in 1992. He also used to write for Last Exit and Anime News Network (I was his assistant on both.) Most of what I write is silly, philosophical, sad, or lemony. My favorite series are Cowboy Bebop, Slayers, Escaflowne, Fullmetal Alchemist, Planetes and a few others. My biggest influences are Andre Norton, Terry Pratchett and Rumiko Takahashi. Generally I prefer canon couples, Lina x Gourry, Yuna x Tidus, Van x Hitomi, Ranma x Akane, Haruhi x Tamaki, Ed x Winry, Roy x Riza, and Sano x Mizuki (Hanakimi) being favorites. I love Riza Hawkeye so much though that I'm more than willing to read any well written pairing / threesome / foursome with her in it. In that vein I also like Havocai, and Ed/Riza if it's written well. I like challenging myself, so you'll find that I write weird inexplicable couples and a wide variety of situations or types of fanfic as a result. I often write more adult-oriented things that can't go on this site. You can find those stories on the appropriate LJ communites or at adultfanfiction dot net under this same name. I would love to find good (or at this point ANY!) Planetes fanfiction, preferably Tanabe x Hachimaki. I also have a blue hat. I like my hat. It is a good hat. | |||||||||
