I have far too many internet aliases, but if you need to call me something, Aelis Mikilai is the one I've stuck with for a while. If you're wondering why that's not my username, the answer is simple: this account is reeeeeally old, but I like it here- I'm established.

My stories are usually centered around romance, with action/adventure/angst/drama thrown in, and a bit of (fail?) humor.

I like it when people don't massacre the English language. :D Semi-serious stories written in 'chatspeak' make me wail in despair.

Lastly...

As much as I would like to hope that the following is unneeded, I'm going to say it anyways. Please do not flame me based on a pairing I ship. I could go on for (likely) hours on the subject, but please just know that even if your pairing is not one I ship, it doesn't necessarily mean that I am your enemy, or that I hate all other pairings (yours included). The only thing I really hate is blind animosity, name-calling, condescension, etc. etc. Can't we all just agree to disagree (assuming we even disagree in the first place) and move along?? D:

April 16, 2008 God, it's been too long since I've been here. D: Internet problems make my online presence scarce, so bear with me. The only fanfic-ness I've been working on is Leon/Ashley. As for my existing attempt, Ashes and Snow, I'm going to drop that one specifically. I want to rework so many major points that it would be easier to just write a new story. I'll leave it up, and, at some point, I'll post what I've already written but haven't yet posted. When I do that, I'll mark it to 'complete' and note in the description and author's notes that the story's being dropped. Here's hoping the new one will be better! ;; Also, don't expect me to be in the forums much. Ever. Too much hate between shippers of different pairings. -_-;; I've accepted that I can't make the hate stop, so I'm just going to avoid it for now.

March 9, 2007 I am back after a long break, and I hope all you Resident Evil fans (especially Leon+Ashley shippers) will be pleased with my new attempt. I am also resigning Happy Donuts' status to complete, since it seemed to end well where it was, and I haven't worked on that fic in years. Thank you everyone who reviewed and gave me support!
