What can I say...I started reading fan fiction on and off a few years ago, but really didn't get serious about it until I started this account and started writing. I loved fan fiction while it lasted and it's been there for me as a lovely distraction and escape from real life during some rather tough times. Tough, not in the sense as emotionally troubling, although it was that sometimes, but it was tough in the sense that they were transition years. Applying to colleges, saying good bye to high school, going to college, etc.

There really are some amazing writers out there, even if this is all "just" fan fiction. I've had the pleasure of reading some of their pieces and even had the opportunity to get in touch with a few of them. It's been nice; it really has, and I'm sorry I'm one of those impatient writers who throw ideas out onto the floor, begin a fic, get a few people interested, then lose interest myself (sometimes I come back to fics in my mind) but nothing ever really gets written, so I'm sorry for leaving so many unfinished stories behind. Maybe I'll return to them someday, but right now I'm back to reading books and maybe writing a few original stories of my own (not likely but maybe).

A lot of the writers and reviewers who I've come into contact with are out of the fan fiction world now, and I think it's time for me to do the same. I'll come back and read a bit, reread a few of my favorites, but for now, I'm out.
