I'm not actually that insane, but my humor stories tend to be a bit...different, for a better word. I think that my name reflects my humor stories best and as I started out as a humor writer, I can't bring myself to change my pen name, no matter how much I may want. Song of the Moment: n/a Book of the Moment: n/a Brief Look... Well, I'm a twenty-year-old female. I work in retail and at a library and am a full-time student working on a political science major and philosophy minor. Time is hard to come by due to that. I'm trying to graduate this spring, but I've been considering another major in business or joining the graduate program for a secondary-teaching certificate...which means even less time. I love to write - it will always be my passion - read, doodle, debate, and I love to sing. I'm very open and friendly, and I'm more than welcome to help when I can and check my email regularly, so any questions you have, PM me and I'll be sure to reply soon enough. :) I don't write as much as I used to anymore, but I do read when people suggest stories to me - regardless of whether it is their own story or someone else's - and I always review if I read something, even if I don't like it. I'll give an honest opinion (which is not a flame), but if you don't want concrit, please mention so in your story, not just your profile. I don't browse the site reading profiles, I search by categories and hop my reviewer's stories and their favorites. I've been writing on here for eight years, since 2003. My writing has developed significantly since then and I am embarrassed by a lot of my older writings, yet I kept the majority of them up to contrast them to my current writing to remind me - and others - how far I have come. I write in a variety of genres and I try my hardest to stay true to their personalities. My favorite has always, and will always, be YuGiOh! most because they have very flexible characters and you can do a good deal with them, unlike with many other fandoms. I've never been very good at writing chapter fictions, given that I update very slowly and lose many readers due to that. I write relationships very realistically, and I often throw in some philosophical questions for people to ponder and for the characters to work with. I generally don't write stories that have random make-out/sex sessions or sudden proclamations of love or anything like that. (At least not anymore :P ) That's how romance novelists write and it's not realistic and that is not my personal preference unless it is humor. My one shots don't have any of that unless it's taking after a relationship that's already developed in the show. Otherwise, I work with a lot of subtlety and development. If you don't have the patience for that, you probably won't like my writing. I write a lot of drama and romance - I used to write a good deal of humor and I'll occasionally throw that in my stories...though not in such demented doses lol. One last thing: I am very, very protective of my current stories. It takes a lot of time and effort out of my busy schedule to write down ideas that are swirling in my head and I don't just throw something together. I take time in writing it and I take time to make it as well as I can. I'm very easily offended when it comes to lack of feedback. If I see tons of hits and no reviews or no one PMs me or emails me, it's very discouraging and given that this is a repeated offense on this site lately, it would mean very little to me to just stop sharing my stories. I want to share them, so that other people can enjoy other's writing, but feedback is the greatest respect to an author's work, even if you don't like it. If there's something wrong, let us know somehow. If you don't want to add to the review count, don't bother - just send us a PM. We're not review whoring on here. True, some people are sharing stories just for fun, but for those of us who are like me and really make time to share our ideas, at least keep encouraging us by letting us know that someone actually cares enough to give us some feedback or that we're writing well or something, at the very least. That is the greatest respect you can give to an author online, regardless of whether it's fanfiction or original fiction. And the good thing about giving me feedback is that I am ten times more likely to check out your works when I'm in the mood for reading. It really does pay to give feedback because most likely, you'll get more readers out of it. Trust me, I know. It's happened to me before from reviewing people's works.
