So, here I am again!

Today I have 'good news' and 'bad news'.

The 'Good' news is that the next chapter is finished!!! YEA!!! Well, all except for:

The 'Bad' news...the flashback!

Usually the flashback scenes are one of the first things to come to me! This time, however...not so much! I know what I want to write and I know whats going to happen, but I can't seem to get this party started. Life is getting in the way again, and I'm so-o-o-o close to having this ready for you all. Keep your fingers crossed!

One other tiny little thing I kinda want to just throw out there for you guys...um, well, you see, uh...

The rating is probably going to change with this next chapter...take that as you will, but know it was a huge challenge for me to write...what I did...and I just don't know if I can bare to cut it to keep a 'T' rating.

So it looks like 'M' it will be from here on out...I hate it but there it is. Hope your not too disapointed!

If you're just looking for some wondeful Rei/Minako goodness, and haven't read 'The Cruelty And Fairness Of Fate' by Crawlspace, You've really missed out! The whole story is fantastic, but if you just want some Rei & Mina warm fuzzies, start with Chapter 16, "Fairytales For The Modern Girl". I'd be surprised if you didn't end up going all the way back to chapter one after that! I guarantee, you will NOT be disappointed! _

I'm not really sure what to say here, but I figured it was time I said something! I'm a Sailormoon fan from way back, and have always been a sucker for the idea of a possible romance between Ami and Makoto, having seen flashes of it in the anime, if not the manga. Yes, I am a card carrying member of the Church of Ami & Makoto, and have written a series that features them, "Thoughts of Home", the first of which is achived here. I've never really gotten around to posting the whole thing here, and I still like to think of it as an on-going project, as I actually have 2 more sequels sitting, unfinished on my hardrive!

In a bit of a twist, I find myself writing Rei & Minako these days. But, not the Rei/Mina from the anime. Instead,I've focused on the charas from the live action series, "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon". If you haven't seen this yet, treat yourself! If you can make it past the first 3 or 4 eps, you will be hopelessly hooked! For the shoujoai fan, like myself,they do a wonderful job of giving you a more-or-less 'In You Face' representation of these two. Maybe they were trying to make up for the missing Haruka & Michiru. Who knows? Anyway, it warms my soul to know that it was all done with the over-riding approval of Naoko Takeuchi, many blessings on her head!

For those wondering why I don't have Ami and Makoto hooked up in 'Echoes Of A Distant Demon', the answer is really very simple...there is no hint at all of any romantic feeling whatsoever between them in the Live Action series. To the contrary, Makoto does indeed find a wonderful man in Mamoru's best freind, Motoki, and Motoki is just head over heels gone for her. Yes, I was a bit disapointed, but then Rei & Minako started to heat up, and I felt well compensated indeed!
