Hello! It's... time for a profile update! So, here's the info about me and my fic.
ME:
I reside in the Southeastern USA, say "ya'll" without shame, love animals and spend far too much time in either the real world or the imaginary ones, depending on who you talk to. I'm old enough to drive but not old enough to drink, and my mental age has been a mature twelve for about as long as I can remember. My fandoms are Harry Potter, and more recently Danny Phantom. I am a chronic procrastinator, aspiring author, and lazy, lazy person. I like Snape fic, mostly because I am too nice for my own good, and want all the evil people of the world to be redeemed. Canon-wise, I think Snape is Dumbledore's man, but I am under no delusions as to his personality. IFTY Snape is my idea of what he could've been like had he turned to Dumbledore at a younger age. Also in regards to canon, I would bet money that Harry doesn't learn about Snape or anything else from Dumbledore's portrait--he's going to learn it from the Sorting Hat.
IT FALLS TO THE YOUNG:
My first fanfic, I've been working on it off and on for about two and a half years. It is severely AU, although copious research from the HP Lexicon has ensured that all the details are correct. Currently stands at 49 chapters (plus prologue) which I am putting up while trying to figure out what to do with the ending, which has not been cooperating lately. I do love it, though, and I'm considering expanding it even further past the second "was supposed to be the ending" mark. My other fic, An Unprecedented Shift of Perspective, also falls into the Skittlesverse--as Hebi R. christened it--although it can be read as a stand alone, I suppose. Offers to brit-pick, translate, or review the fic are all gladly accepted. :)
Hebi R. also wrote a fic, Falling Into Confusion, that is an AU of the Skittlesverse. It's very well done and makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Go read it.
