~~~~I've been told that i don't have any 'personal stats' on here... and that for some reason i should.

I am: Female (i would think that's obvious...but hey..i'm not one to judge)
23 years old (agh! i shouldn't feel old yet! but i DO)
Contractor (think dilbert...only prettier and less disillusioned, with a bigger nicer cubicle and better boss... okay so not like dilbert at all, but i think you got the gist of it)
(left behind the elementary school art teacher-ness for an amazing job, that has eaten my life only slightly less than the teaching did - because my commute jumped from two minutes to an hour)

and what i like to call a 'closet' otaku... people blink at me in confusion for a moment if i mention anime...
uh...i think that's it for now... favorites and such should be kinda obvious...

Hard drive failure...nothing recoverable... When i am done crying over it, and when/if i get a new computer i will resume work on fics.

The absolute saddest thing about this is... the only thing i'm really upset about losing is my writing...i HAD many many scenes written for Simple explanation, college life, and when life hands you sake... as well as part of a chapter for betrayal... i'm hoping i can recover some of this from the backups that i've done in the past (this was before i discoved that the program i was using to burn the backup cds was causing my computer to crash - so go figure, i stopped and all the brilliance that i have accumulated on my computer since the beginning of the semester is gone)

january 31-----------------------------------------------

i have a new computer (YAY!) it is beautiful... although doing your homework on widescreen is not as entertaining as one would like to think. School is kicking my butt right now AND i have to start worrying about GASP real life in the GASP real world... i'm not happy about this...not one bit..
so it may take a while for anything to actually, you know, happen regarding my fics... but i Could work on them now if i had time... so don't be surprised to see something soon!

may 29-----------------------------------------

Back at home after a grueling last semester as an undergraduate college student - so my life is consumed now with applying for jobs (and subsequent apartment searching and moving if i actually Get said jobs...) so everything is sort of up in the air right now... i obviously posted The Colors I See a while ago...but nothing else has really made progress since then except for a few scenes for later in Simple Explanation and a bunch for the unposted AU GW fic that is currently inhabiting a document titled 'silliness'which i may wait to post until it's done... just so i can have something finished up here...
Once life finds a routine i'll be able to do more!

I am sorry to realize how long it has been since the last update -ditto to all in the above post- and now it is 'the holidays' and i will not be able to think about much more than that for the next few weeks. -as stated in stats i became an elementary school art teacher and my life is consumed by arty art art every single day... i will work on fics (it's about darned time i finished betrayal!) thanks for those of you who are being patient with me... =/

wow... long time no...anything
my career and life are sort of in flux right now (a good flux, but generally time consuming) so i will be job switching, working, moving, etc for the next few months... i have a good feeling about writing right now, but potentially have no time for it
also i'm in the midst of editing a novel for a friend and beginning work on my own (at her badgering... i mean insistence) so I've only added bits and peices to my fanfiction abyss (I mean folder) and sort of kicked back, just reading the updates that come through and taking inspiration as it comes.
