Timelines:
In the Universe of Elijah's Cup: A lengthy series, initially begun by crossing over Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe (CS Lewis) with Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (JK Rowling) in the fic central to the series, 'Elijah's Cup'. As of 'Lamppost', it has expanded to include The Dark Is Rising Sequence (Susan Cooper) and elements of Lynda S. Robinson's 'Count Meren' series. I also promise the introduction of at least 2 more surprise fandoms with the triplet of fics recounting Goblet of Fire within this universe. There will be yet one more when I get to OOTP, by which time I have vowed to be AU enough to ignore the text entirely. Below is the timeline to date.
Dear Brother Paul (1926)
Telegram (1945 stretching through Elijah's Cup, summer 1994)
The Sorting Hat (Marauders' time: 1970's)
Where The Heart Is (Summer 1976)
As Yet Untouched (Halloween 1981 & 1990)
The Artist As A Younh Man (Summer 1988 - Summer 1993)
Elijah's Cup (Third Year, from Fall 1993 to Spring 1994)
In the Paper (week of June 4, 1994)
A Complete Secret (June 30, 1994)
Lamppost (July 7, 1994)
Shield of David (July 18, 1994 through August 7, 1994)
Forsworn (August 10, 1994)
Ireland vs. Bulgaria (Quidditch World Cup: August 22 - 23, 1994)
Be Well Tried / Sticks and Stones / To Question Why (Not yet posted)
- Interred With Their Bones (within the timeline of the four previous)
- Fenrisbane (post IWTB)
Van Helsing Sequence: Many thanks to Akkarin11 for finding me info about ships so that I might have a clue where to start on Sunken Peril when I get the time.
Lachrymae
Laeva Dei
Perditor
Ascending Angels
Neon Star
Sunken Peril (WIP)
Molten Time
Sing, O Muse, and through me tell the story . . .
Works In Progress (09/01/08): Graduated. Applying for jobs, and getting out of the funk I've been mired in for far too long. :)
Rearview: Reviewing, editing, working on Chapter 4.
Be Well Tried / Sticks And Stones / To Question Why: Click the homepage link to my LJ for the most current progress reports.
Year of the Scorpion: Stalled.
The Play's The Thing: On hiatus.
Vanishing Night: Estimating two more chapters or so, unless I decide to draw it out. Unlikely, given how long it's been malingering at its current point.
Sunken Peril: Contemplating the start of Chapter 5.
Chasing Ashes: From Patricia McKillip's Ombria in Shadow. Bunny = recieving CPR. Maybe.
The Sicarii: Sequel to PERDITOR. I have notes and some early scribblings on my harddrive, but my writing style has changed since then so there's going to be editing. Provided I can decide which of the three plots I have are going to be involved, and which are going to take alternate titles and become other stories.
Uchitachi: (meaning: Attacker) Sequel to BUSHIDO & SHIDACHI. Can't remember what I wrote in the first two, and have neither Stargate nor inspiration at the moment. Maybe I'll get sick of having this hanging over my head next summer.
Image of a Fallen Statue - Resurgence of Evil - The Awakening: "Image" and "Resurgence" are in the HP fandom, and can be found under The Dark Arts at FictionAlley.org (sig = lembas7). They're just not at the quality I want my writing at (proof positive of growth and learning, thank goodness), and until they are, they're gone.
A few random tidbits:
My motto is "I write stuff I would want to read." Thus: Action, adventure, fantasy, science, history, drama, angst, character development, and of course I try to make it interesting and as complex as my brain can take (research, whooo!). I write gen and have warm-fuzzies for happy endings.
Unless I'm done with a work prior to posting, then the updates will be sporadic and unreliable during the school year, and much more frequent over breaks (helped, as always, by reviews! I am open to mild extortion.). This is a direct reflection of the time I have to write. I do tend to post pieces of randomness when I can. I'm a college student (in my last year!) in a competitive major, with too many minors, if that clarifies things. And trying to have a future really sucks.
All reviews and critiques are very much appreciated. I'll do my best to answer any questions given to me if an email is left. Thanks to all my reviewers for their encouragement and support, and the occassional prods necessary to get me to update.
I'm rarely on, but if you want to chat, give me a buzz - here's my AIM: lembas7fanfic
Please do not copy, reproduce, post, or print any of my works without dropping me a line. I just like to know where stuff's going. :)
