Well, howdy there! I'm Tens (Pronounced Tense...don't ask) and I write the below stories. What? You expect me to be clever at this time of the morning? You've got to be kidding me...
What can I say about me? I love pickles dipped in all manners of desert, I'm a big western fan, I buy a lot of movies I don't get around to watching and I make it a habit to get something written every day, no matter how stupid - thus the many one-shots. And the rest of me is boring, so moving on...
My display picture is William (Bill) Smith who played the clerk in The Outsiders and Texas Ranger Joe Reilly in Laredo among many other rolls. I'll use this picture so we all have something hot to look at.
Time again to switch it up a bit.
Tens: I hate you.
Dad: What did I do now?
Tens: You gave me this stupid cold.
Dad: What? It was my turn to play Typhoid Larry.
Tens: Uh huh.
Dad: I'm sure you'll love me once you can breathe through your nose again.
Tens: Don't hold your breath.
Dad: At least I can hold my breath...

Tens: You wrote something?
Bran: Yes. 'An Ode to my Trans Am' by Bran:
'You were impounded because some idiot was confounded. Taken away, there was no price I could pay, and believe me Baby, I tried. Those RC's really don't like bribes. I got handcuffed and then I had to call my brother for bail money on a pay phone. Finally someone came, like hours after I called. I just don't feel appreciated. You always appreciated me, especailly after some WD40 on your hinges...'
Tens: I guess separation anxiety is possible for car owners, too.

Tens: Do you remember Lola?
Lee: Carson's cat? The one you let get run over?
Tens: Thanks for the guilt trip.
Lee: What else are big brothers for?
Tens: Money, bringing good-looking friends by the house, faking sick notes from the doctor...
Lee: I think you have me confused with some other big brother. Possibly a fictional one.
Tens: It's sad when I have to use my imagination because reality is lacking so much.
Lee: Let me know when you actually get to the point of this conversation. Until then, your fictional big bother will be avidly listening to you babble while I work on my Thesis and pretend to listen.
Tens: Ouch. And everyone thinks you're the nice one.

Keira: He is old!
Tens: And I am finally agreeing with you. I'm getting over that pesky "denial" step. Next comes anger...
