Author has written 4 stories for X-Men: Evolution, and Song of the Lioness.

There's not much to say.

I write on multiple accounts. I feel obliged to finish all of my fan fiction before I say goodbye to it forever. The pieces here, being the furthest from my mind will probably be completed last. Sorry.

As for why I'm trying to detach myself from fanfiction, I've never been all that attached to begin with. I write too many OCs and scrap the canon far too often to consider myself a true ficcer. I use canonical characters, settings, and plots only as a starting point and, frankly, why do this fanfic thing when I can use equally interesting works from the Public Domain and maybe earn some money for my efforts?

The only things fanfiction ever gave me were confidence as a writer, a lot of free writing to read and critique, and my friend from across the Pond, a fellow writing-enthusiast whom I call Mell. Oh, and a link to FPC--a statement that I will now explain below.

'I encourage those of you who aren't already aware of FFN's sister site FictionPress to click on the pretty blue hyperlink and begin to contribute your own original work, no matter the genre. Besides fictional stories of all kinds, there are also places for poetry, essays, opinion pieces, original lyrics--whatever you want to post, just go for it. Readership is lower than in some of the more popular FFN fandoms, true, but in my own personal experience the percentage of readers who review is much higher and the reviews themselves are more valuable.

Hope to see you around,
--E.V.'
