I guess I had better make some sort of announcement here about my plans for the Old Lot, Solitude, and any other stories one may be interested in...
I do plan on finishing the Old Lot. The question is of when this will actually happen. To tell you the truth, I don't have much trust in my computer to chance opening Microsoft Word and my computer failing as a result. It likes to do that.
I do plan on finishing Solitude. What that entails, I really don't know. I'm not sure where I want it to go, let alone where it will go.
Others, I have many ideas for, such as a second chapter for Of Wolf and Man, and I've had a side story for The Old Lot for quite some time. Though most of it actually happens after the end on T.O.L., so you can only imagine you won't see that one for a while.
For those of you who've been reading fanfiction for a long time know well enough that writers have a life, especially if you, too, are a writer on this site. I know that is a well-worn excuse, but it's true. May not be much of a life, but it's there. I'm asking for a word processor for my birthday in September, an Alphasmart or some-such. That should help; my own personal, portable work station of ideas and inspiration... Smile. I don't trust computers anymore, I don't like dealing with them, so I'm not planning to purchase one, in the near future. And I use way too many commas.
So there you go. Funny thing, random reviews actually do push me to do something, even if it's not what you would most hope for... Hehe. BE SATISFIED!
Cheers,
Alex
