Author has written 22 stories for DarkWing Duck, Static Shock, Mummies Alive!, Teen Titans, Mighty Max, Card Captor Sakura, Ninja Turtles, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Rainbow Brite. I am a 20-something graduate of Carleton College in Northfield, MN, having majored in international relations/political science with a minor in Spanish language and literature and a personal (but unofficial due to department politics) concentration in political theory. I wrote my senior comprehensive exercise on the political theory of espionage and its implications and proofs in empirical experiences by CIA agents (I know, it sounds intimidating, but actually, it's all a lot of fun!). I am currently employed, but jobs are boring compared to the imagination. It is the fanfiction that gets me through the workday, most often, which is why I'm both prolific (I write long chapters), but slow to update (I can only work when the boss doesn't see). Currently, my other formal activities are: singing in the Twin Cities Women's Choir of MN and their off-shoot Encore! group, and forming half of a small acoustic band called Candles Enough with my partner. I also see my "family" (aka friends closer than blood-kin) every couple of evenings, so I'm hardly idle. The rest of the time, I'm reading, writing, role-playing and sometimes GMing, cleaning house, listening to lots and lots of music, or watching TV. Although I like a lot of live-action shows really well, my favorites are always the cartoons and anime series that I try and keep track of. Here is a list, by no means conclusive, of as many of these wonderful animated series that I could think of: Batman the Animated Series Obviously, I have very diverse tastes. No mean comments, now! I currently have 2 major stories in progress on the site: "The Ties that Bind" for Teen Titans and "Moral Danger" for Static Shock, and I PROMISE to finish them someday, though it may be a while! I may be slow to update, but I never forget and I will finish all my fics eventually. I also have at least four stories that hasn't been posted at all waiting for a few more revisions. When I get stuck for ideas, I've branched out into one-shots, so a couple of those will pop up here and there. Other than that, if you want to check out my livejournal, be my guest. There may not be many entries open to the public, as I tend to be a more private person, but feel free to read through anything I've left open and comment; I always like to hear back from people and then be able to comment in return. I think that's about it. Oh, in case you were wondering, the name "Mendeia" is actually the name of a character in a fantasy story I wrote years ago, and while the actual writing itself may not be salvageable, the character was a lot of fun.
