Author has written 21 stories for Silmarillion, Lord of the Rings, Homer, Phantom of the Opera, and Harry Potter. Two sides of a story, yet only one is heard. Yet I have delegated myself the task of bringing to light the tales of those misfortunate few, who have been forgotten, forsaken, or buried into the depths of time. Must I reveal my birth name? I never understood the concept of parents naming their kids. I mean, their only giving them names they like themselves, not ones the kids will like. So therefore, you may call me Isilmë... O FINE. it's ELAINE, but must you call me that? If you have it in your mind to contact me, my AIM is DSluvr4evr7 My writing will revolve around the Lord of the Rings, the Silmarillion, and others of Tolkien's magnificent works. Please review my fics! It gives encouragement and a beacon of hope 2 those who don't have any (i.e. me, no hope of being a great writer) I live for Tolkien's works. The Silmarillion has recently surpassed the Lord of the Rings as the fulcrum around which I revolve; much of that due to the enigmatic, stormy, perfect Fëanáro. Probably why I write loads of Nerdanel povs. Disregarding the implications of this, I also adore Maglor, son of Fëanor, a bit disturbing when you think of the heredity. But that's disregarded. Females of that long forsaken age that I tend to sympathize and write about: Nerdanel (and more Nerdanel, and lots more of Nerdanel) and Erendis, though I haven't written much about her yet. I also love Faramir, Aragorn, and Frodo in that order, if we must indeed move to the Third Age. I've dared to venture outside of the comfort of Aman a few times, so if you're looking for that, there are a couple there. Harry Potter, the Phantom of the Opera, the Iliad specifically. Quotes to live by: "How do you pick up the threads of an old life? How do you go on? When in your heart, you begin to understand, there is no going back. There are some things time cannot mend, some hurts that go too deep, that have taken hold." "Life is not measured by the how many breaths we take, but by how many moments take our breath away." "Absence is to love what wind is to fire; it extinguishes the small and inflames the great." "A ship in a harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are made for." "The pain passes, but the beauty remains..." "Man did not weave the web of life. He is but a strand in it. And he must remember, whatever he does to the web, he does to himself.” And of course, there is the anthem of my people: Gondor! Gondor, between the Mountains and the Sea! Updates: I have a Feanor one-shot going right now. For all of you waiting on Forsaken, you might be HAPPY! I have... BEEN INSPIRED! I started writing the final chapters, and just need a good final stretch! Except updates someday! Thanks to all of you who have stuck with me in my lack of inspiration! | |||||||||||
