I am a huge fan of cartoons, anime, comics, and manga. I also enjoy reading and writing stories. And as a bit of a warning, I am well known for pairing up cannon characters with my Original Characters (And I can assure you, ther IS a differernce between OCs and Mary Sues, my OCs do go through alot of character development, thank you very much.) To be honest, I don't see a problem with there being another girl, but that's just me.

Now I should warn everyone now that I do use made up characters in my fan fics. However, I do not consider my made up characters to be what some people would call a "Mary Sue". Here is my definition of a "Mary Sue", a made up character for a fan fic that has no depth what-so-ever, is great at everything she does, the official people in the universe she’s in like her right away, and she and whoever it is she’s supposed to be involved with fall for each other on first sight.

You see, my problem with a lot of the Anti Mary Sue people is that they tend to include ALL made up characters as Mary Sues. Wanna know what I think? I think they’re jealous of the fact that some of us can create and develop a character for a story, be it original or fan fic wise, and since they don’t have the talent for it, they oppress us. Well here’s a news flash for all of you, most of my characters are not only going to be in my fan fics, but they're also characters in my ORIGINAL stories as well! This is the thing a lot of these Anti Mary Sue people don’t realize, the original characters we create for fan fics, often tends to end up being put in original stories of their own.
