Author has written 23 stories for Tribe, Power Rangers, and Avengers. Hi there. If you reached this page, I guess it means you want to know something about me. Firstly, apologies, I am British and 'Britishisms' have a nasty habit of trying to sneak their way into my stories. People are trying to cure me of this. Slowly. I was MIA for over two years (university, travelling and now masters degree has all kept me busy - and yes, I am *that* old!) but am slowing beginning to get back into the swing of writing for pleasure rather than for deadlines. I have a couple of ideas which I'm working on and there may be drabbles with me experimenting with different writing styles or just simple exercises to get me back into things. I write whatever odd and unusual ideas come into my head, sometimes more than one at once and I get in different moods on what to write. Hence I find myself with two or three stories on the go simultaneously!! It's not the easiest way to do things, but I like it. When I'm not working, studying for my masters or writing I am a keen surfer (so please forgive me for any gratuitous surfing scenes in stories!) and I also hold a first-degree black belt in a Japanese martial art no one's ever heard of. I also suffer from a condition the Germans call "wanderlust"... yeah I'm a traveller at heart and practice as often as possible - as often as time/money allows! I've been very lucky to have travelled extensively, and I *love* learning about different cultures. One of the things people often ask me is "where have I visited"... So here's a [brief] run-down on the countries I've been to: Africa: Egypt, Kenya, Morocco Asia: Cambodia, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam Europe: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany * , Italy, Monaco, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Tenerife, United Kingdom * , Vatican City Middle East: Cyprus * , Israel, Jordan North America: United States (CA, FL, NV, NY) Oceania: Australia, New Zealand, Rarotonga (the Cook Islands) ( * I lived here!) I adore chatting about travelling so feel free to drop me a PM :-) I find looking back at some of my earlier work now a little awkward, as with all things practice leads to improvement! But I won't delete them because each story taught me something new and it's nice to see how my writing's developed over the years (I was in my early-teens when I first published a story on here!). I won't apologise for them, as at the time they were the best I could do, but I will say I have improved as a writer and story-teller since then! For those wondering, here's a brief run-down of where my writing currently stands: Unfinished stories: My Brother's Keeper - I've had this story planned out for years but hadn't had the inspiration to actually write it. But suddenly it's just jumped on me so along with Winter's Chill this is the story I'm working on at the moment! Chapters are up and more are being added as and when complete. Winter's Chill - This is the story I'm working on at the moment (mostly). It's a sequel to my one-shot Autumn Leaves, although you don't have to have read that one to understand this one! Four Days in New York City - I haven't forgetten this one. It will be completed at some point in the future. Unfortunately I have not found the inspiration to continue with it just yet. Broken Glass - This is on hold until my other stories had been completed. However, I may get the inspiration to complete it sooner. Planned/Upcoming: In other words, these are ones I've started writing but still remain incredibly rough works BTFL2 - Sequel to Bitter Tears for Lost Innocence. This one is proving problematic as it's intended to be a thriller. I love the idea; the execution of it is going to be tricky. It's also extremely personal to me so I want to get it right. Untitled - Sequel to When You Think Of Happiness. I've wanted to write a sequel to this for a while, focusing on Sky's time away from the S.P.D. I've got a good plan, but again the execution is proving the difficulty. Favourite Pairings: Will say in advance I am fully comfortable with slash (including writing it!), but draw the line at incest (Supernatural shippers, you know who you are!) Ninja Storm: Shane/Dustin; Hunter/Tori (nothing against Blake, I've always just been a bit 'meh' about him); Hunter/pretty-much-any-of-the-guys. I had many reservations about Shane/Hunter but have since read a few *awesome* fics with them as the main pairing and they've grown on me.
