Guess who's back!

Fresh out of basic and now in a 22 week Technical school, I have returned from the depths of BMT, and with Beast Excellence on top of that (for all the civis out there, look it up.) I actually start my classes the thirteenth, so until then I'm what they call a 'casual'. No idea when I'll be able to get back into writing, if ever, mainly because all my writings are still in New Mexico. I'll have to see if I can't get them sent to me. And then it'll be a simple matter of finding the time to write. Wish me luck, and thanks to all the reviews and alerts thrown into my inbox while I've been gone!

IMPORTANT NOTICE!!

I will be leaving for Air Force Basic Military Training June 2!!

I'll try and sneak in an update or two between that time, but there are no guarantees. Holy Hell...I don't know whether to break into a fangirl's squeal or scream in utter terror...I'm leaving in a month! Oh Hot Damn! I'm leaving in a month!

So in case you haven't noticed, I've changed my screen name somewhat. Mostly due to the fact that I've recently begun using my near-dead account on Fictionpress with a first attempt at my own story. How long that will last remains to be seen, but hopefully it won't turn out into a complete failure. Anyways, the names have been changed to match one another, just in case you're wondering or curious as to what the story is about (though why a buch of fanficers would be interested in original fiction is beyond me.) so feel free to take a look, I guess, if you're interested.

Also, I've got some good news and bad news.

That is, good news for me, bad news for you.

I recently returned from my second trip to MEPS (Military Examination and Processing Station, I think) and am now, technically, an official member of the United States Airforce. I'll be in the delayed entry program until a date is schedualed for Basic training in Texas and a job opening becomes available for my choice career. And until that date arrives, I'll try to get as many updates in as possible, because after a date is schedualed, my arse is on a time line. And once that date gets here, said arse belongs to the military, and you can kiss any further updates goodbye, as I doubt I'll be able to work on any stories much afterwards. There's even the chance that I'll loose any desire to complete the stories, which means I'll be leaving more dead fics on the site.

So enjoy it while you can. Time will soon become limited.

//UNCLASSIFIED// 27NOV09 I'm Alive! At least, I think I am... Black Friday and I've just finished tenth block for the 1N0 course. And let me just say this-Briefing sucks. I was not made to be a briefer. How I've made it this far is amazing in and of itself. And its getting really bad too-I find myself making Intel jokes without even being aware of it, and labeling everything I write (this briefing is NOT classified SECRET//NOFORN). But oh the crap I've learned-I've had to do a total brain dump just to remember technical information, spew it forth in front of the higher ups serving as our instructors. Then I get to dump that information for a bunch of new stuff, wash, rinse, and repeat. I can't even remember half of the material I went through when I was still a 'baby' in our squadron... Needless to say, this doesn't bode well for my stories...I have no idea when, if ever, I'll be able to get back to any of them, and it's driving me nuts. I guess I can only hope my perminant duty station will be a little more leneiant then the instructors here are information/time wise. Wish me luck, and lets all pray I don't get washed back in the upcoming blocks-if that happens, I'll be thrown all the way into the new course, and have to go through the whole process all over again.
