Author has written 43 stories for Trigun, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy X, Charles Dickens, Darker than BLACK, and Hetalia - Axis Powers. .x. FYI, I used to be known as Sztorm. I changed it to match my LJ username, because I just like consistency like that. ^^ For those of you who read this, read my stories, add me as a favorite, and/or add a story of mine as a favorite...I love you all. I just want you to know that. You can also find me on LJ, and tumblr. As of 12/27/11, I now have a dreamwidth account. .x. General info about my writing: Historical!Hetalia has eaten my brain. Beyond that, I like writing about relationships--which doesn't necessarily mean the romantic variety. I mostly write one-shots, in case you couldn't tell. I simply don't have time to devote to longer works, unfortunately. (I find I generally like the conciseness of shorter stories, anyway--forces you to choose your words more carefully, or something.) Regarding Formatting: FFN is prone to updating/disallowing characters, and so formatting is prone to getting jacked-up, and I'm really quite sick of it, especially when it isn't my fault, but this site's. As of 04/28/10, I have updated my fics, but if it happens again, I doubt I'll take the time to fix it. If that's the case, I encourage you to check out my LJ, as I have cross-posted everything there. (I tend to be over there more nowadays, anyway--back and forth discussion is easier, I can format my fics to my heart's content, and I occasionally even ramble about head-canon and other fandom stuff.) .x. Regarding my FFVII stories: I generally base all my FFVII fics off of characterizations and events in the original game (mainly because I started writing in the fandom before all the sequels and prequels and whatever-quels), though I will occasionally draw from the characterizations of Cloud and Tifa in Advent Children, because I find them quite reasonable. Basically, I couldn't keep up with the compilation and don't have any particular desire to. (Or, we'll just say I'm an OGC whore, and leave it at that. XD) I haven't completely moved on from FFVII, but it is on the back-burner as a fandom. Still, I miss it, and do plan on returning one day. .x. Regarding the Edelweiss Arc: An arc about Austria's personal growth in the ex-empire period, with a heavy AustriaxHungary element (the pairing is more often implied than shown outright, but it is a major overall theme). History is often used as a backdrop, but the fics are rarely about historical events, themselves. And, though they can be read and enjoyed as stand-alone pieces, they're truly meant to fit together as a whole. (In regards to the pairing, I feel I should point out that my AustriaxHungary head-canon is far more love/hate, as opposed to just love. So...yeah. Just something to keep in mind.) Anyway, as they're published out of chronological order, here's a nice list of the fics that fall into it, in chronological order: This Is the Way the World Ends (1918, 1919) Till We Become Accustomed To the Dark, despite being a whacktacular crossover, could (does?) actually fit into the arc as well. For the Hetalia side of things, it would probably take place right around 1920-1921. Tentatively complete. (Meaning all the fics I originally had planned for it are now finished, but I'm being careful about any more wily, stray plot-bunnies.) .x. Fanart: (OMG I HAVE FANART NOW! O.O *is flattered and shocked and flattered*) Clyde...?, a sketch for Diamonds and Rust, by chaneljay. Drunk, a piece of lineart for Words For Thoughts, also by chaneljay. Austria and Belarus, a drawing/painting for Pas de Deux, by Audrey0. .x. Translations: To my great fortune (and flattery), some kind people have taken it upon themselves to translate some of my fics into other languages. Here's a little list, complete with story links: Italian translation of Let's Dance, compliments of Youffie. Italian translation of Human, compliments of Youffie. Spanish translation of But That Was In Another Country, compliments of Ireth Isilra. Chinese translation of Miles To Go, compliments of Wuthering Willow. .x. I come and go from fanfiction. I'll just put it that way. I really love writing, but I do have a life and those darn things called responsibilities, so I'm prone to hiatuses both short and not-so-short. | |||||||
