Well...

It's been awhile since i've been on this site. Alot of my stories have been left blowing in the wind since 2004! I have more time now (since i'm out of school) and I think that some of these stories still have promise. I'll be reading through them and decided which ones to continue and which ones to dump. I've also come up with some new fic ideas that i'm sure you guys will like.

To be honest with all the fans of my work...I will not be writing andromeda fanfiction any longer. Those stories will be deleted more then likely. All my attention has moved to the X-men fandom with special attention to Wolverine. The X-men stories that I have up already will either be re-visualized or removed.

Rant: Wolverine=Emo

I haven't been on this site for awhile so I thought i'd peruse through and read some stories. I've found that the wolverine portrayed on this site isn't dangerous enough. He just isn't deep enough emotionally, isn't dark enough. Wolverine in my mind is a dangerous, brutal, cynical, ill tempered, self loathing, masochist. You might be asking yourself if he's any different from sabertooth. The difference is that even though wolverine is all those things i've described he still tries, sometimes unsuccessfully, to associate with society. The difference is that he realizes that his humanity has been stripped from him. The difference is that he's not reveling in his wild side. The main difference is that Wolverine is actually an extremely emotional man.

I've had a few discussions with other writers about this. My idea that Wolverine/Logan is an extremely emotional man. If you put sabertooth and wolverine side by side like i said before they are pretty much the same. Wild creatures with a drive to kill and dominate. The difference is Wolverine's emotional state. Many people think Victor/Sabertooth is insane but really I think that he's just accepted himself. He's completely comfortable with being a murderous beast, like a wolf is accepting of his need and desire to kill prey. is that insane? Wolverine on the other hand is self loathing. killing and or watching others die causes him emotional stress. His inability to accept himself coupled with the tragedies he's suffered and the abuse and torture from weapon-x has left him an emotional train wreck.

All of this is to say that. I think when no one is looking Logan probably cries alone in the dark.

Does that make him emo? Yes. but he has a damn good reason for it.
