Author has written 19 stories for Highlander, Pretender, Torchwood, Heavy Rain, Stargate: SG-1, Sanctuary, Criminal Minds, and Man from Earth. I am in my late 20s, female, a vet of the USAF. I was stationed briefly in Wichita Falls, Texas, spent a few years in Misawa, Japan and a year in the Reserve stateside, I've lived most of my life in the PNW. I have a fairly busy schedule and some health/energy issues so... if you want something updated ASAP the best thing you can do is review and/or send me a message otherwise it may be awhile before there's any progress :D Fic requests: have an idea you wanna see me screw up? Toss it this way :) I was a huge Highlander (the series) fan when it originally aired and have the seasons on DVD - I can barely watch S 1-2 but 4-5 are decent, 6 is a write off in my book, with the exception of the finale it's basically a series of back door pilots for crappy HL spin offs which ultimately led to the failgasm that was The Raven. It's pretty clear from a glance at what I've written that Methos is my muse :) Since the show was canceled every movie following has mauled what little internal canon had been created by the show. The final movie was a horrific mess, something like the perfect storm of fail, I actually admire the main actors for agreeing to produce the thing. Presumably they did it for the fans, I can't comprehend why they would have bothered otherwise - lawsuits for breach of contract notwithstanding- it's a truly awful awful movie. Some of the comics by Diamond publishing attempt to rectify the fail and at least one has an interesting story involving the Kurgan, I'd recommend any fan pick up the TPB/GNs for those if they feel they're lacking some HL. Lemme add that the Big Finish HL productions are interesting. The first 'season' is pretty straightforward highlighting a series of adventures with Duncan as lead including an interesting one featuring the Kurgan. The second series is excellent. It's a vignette of four stories each 'told' by one of the Horsemen (pre-death for three of them obvs) with a fascinating new character tying them all together. HIGHLY recommend for any Methos fans. I am a big fan of: The Pretender - John Doe - The Mentalist - Criminal Minds - The Wire - Homicide: Life on the Street - OZ - Prison Break (up to the end of Season 2, all subsequent seasons were ridiculous) - Aeon Flux - Aferlife (UK) - Nu-BSG - Supernatural (S1-4 for sure, not too sure about the later seasons) - Sherlock - Jekyll - Nu-Who (With a few exceptions, I grew up W/the original via re-runs on PBS, Tom Baker FTW) - Community (HOMGS a *comedy*) -Game of Thrones (the books are fucking STELLAR) Torchwood (fuck Season 1 that was beyond awful, 2 was meh with like three good eps -Marsters you dickens- and Children of Earth was holy christ good, Miracle Day started nicely then fell on its face and flailed in its own feces...) - and a few others I can't think of offhand. Somehow I've ended up with three 'verses' so to speak. 1. Shattered is one 'verse, while there may be references to it in other fics these are the only two that directly deal with that world. (Refs will usual refer to things like 'the war' etc) 2. Hostile, these are all SG-1/HL crossovers. An OC and the gang have fun times and tragic. 3. Expert Testimony - What can I say? The ROG got tired of being ignored, these are CM/HL. They may be revised at some point as I wrote them all in like two and a half weeks and threw them up as I did (an exception to this being Unhappy Ending which is still a WIP - a slowly updated WIP but still). All this said there are times when, almost entirely on a whim, I'll throw in a shoutout to events in one verse etc so, really, they all sorta bleed into each other. One-Shots - Not Necessarily HL Early Days: (HL)Methos with the Horsemen. Complete. Reluctant Remembrance: (Sanctuary/HL/BTVS) John 'acccidentally' runs into a familiar face in a Parisian bar. Highlander/Sanctuary (Season 1 only) and later on VERY cracky/off kilter BTVS. Okay, maybe not crack but more like slipping a set of reins on my insane muse and letting 'er rip. Seriously no sanity/impulse editing at all. Sorta Complete The Man in White: (HL) A short, well for me short, similar to Early Days, how Kronos and Methos meet. Complete. Men from Earth: (HL/The Man From Earth) Metho meets his friend John Oldman in the desert. Not strictly speaking an entry in the ET series, there is, however, some crossover. Complete Understanding Ethan: (Heavy Rain) Shaun Mars finally realizes how his father was able to save him. Heavy Rain. A very short almost drabble wherein Shaun comes to manhood and makes some realizations about his father. Complete Futile: (Torchwood)Captain John Hart and Capt. Jack Harkness have a conversation, set directly before the events in the audio drama 'House of the Dead'. Torchwood. Very brief, touches on Bang Bang, Kiss Kiss, post COE pre MD Complete. Shattered 'verse Shattered: The truth behind the game. My first ever fanfic. I seriously doubt this will be tweaked at any point, I obsessed over it for about a year and a half before, during and after initially posting it on ff.net was originally posted in '03 or '04, Complete. Shattered 2: Genocide Avenged: Okay I tweaked and polished and am now reasonably satisfied, enjoy and please let me know what you think :D. Complete. Hostile 'verse Hostile: My First Crossover, Highlander meets SG-1 introducing my original character Max Holloway. Max and Methos get into trouble and out again, well mostly. - recently moved from Highlander to SG-1 categorization dealie whopper. Complete. Hostile 2: Enter the Nephilim: The story of Simon, last of the Nephilim, resident of Seacouver and friend of Max, a sequel to Hostile. Complete. Complete Hostile 3: Leave Me Alone: Okay, timeline, Hostile 2: Enter the Nephilim takes place roughly ten years after the end of Hostile. Hostile 3: Leave Me Alone takes place immediately following the events of Hostile. I know, I apologize for being that way. So, Hostile 3: Leave Me Alone, the Feral children of Max's nightmares return and Jack gets the worst of it. Abandoned Prelude: Adam and Company find a frightened young woman, a new immortal in the heart of Seacouver and try to tame her - backstory and introduction of MH Abandoned Earthside: Features Max, Methos, Mac and a host of OCs in a far future society. Abandoned Expert Testimony 5: Aftermath: A partial cross with Hostile, ET 'verse centric in early chapters, moves to a more equal mish mash in later chapters WIP Expert Testimony 'verse Expert Testimony 1: The team returns to Seattle to assist in a series of murders involving decapitation. Gideon calls in an old acquaintance for assistance. Complete. Expert Testimony 2: Conversation: Methos is hitchhiking back to Seacouver after leaving the B.A.U in Texas. He stumbles across a surprising face in a diner and finds he seems to have a few things on his mind. M rated due to fairly graphic sex scene midway in. Complete. Expert Testimony 3: A Kind of SilenceStephen King's Sleepwalkers Movie /HL/CM Hotch is conducting a seminar on behalf of the BAU when he is called in to advise on a local murder. The murder fits a series of killings spanning twenty years with a bizarre COD. Fearing the worst Hotch calls in the team. Complete. Expert Testimony 4: Unhappy Ending: An Interpol job leaves the team with an uncomfortable question, what do you do with an immortal that doesn't want to be caught?this is HL/CM and a few chapters in introduces The Pretender) Complete Expert Testimony 5: Aftermath: Follow up to Unhappy Ending, also a cross w/Hostile 'verse.
