NOTICE:
Due to being busy with school (including AP classes, Art programs, and SAT prep.) updates will not continue to after October.
There are two of us on this account and we are twins, Ryoko and Yami. We work on a lot of projects together, like our websites and artwork. However, that does not mean we write together. We each have different stories here on fanfiction.net and on fiction press. Which be sure to check out at fictionpress.com/~blackknights
We are currently in our sophomore year of high school. We enjoy sports like basketball and love karate. We really like to draw, you can check out our art at Ryoko-and-Yami.deviantart.com. We love anime and manga. Some of our favorite couples are Edward and Winry, Yusuke and Keiko, Kurama and Botan, Shinichi and Ran (Jimmy and Rachel), Link and Zelda, Ino and Shikamaru, and Sakura and Gaara. Our favorite animeor manga are Fullmetal Alchemist, Naruto, and Yu Yu Hakusho. We love the Legend of Zelda, Fire Emblem, Tales of Symphonia, and Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits games.

Ryoko's Stories:
First things first. I'm attempting to update at least once a month. I hope to do at least my one shots, because I have too man ideas! I'm mainly writing Shikaino stories right now, because, well, I'm obsessed.
Against All Odds-In Progress- I know its been on hiatus, but I really like this story. I have so many ideas that I want to put into this! I really like what I wrote so far! Don't worry I will be getting back to this soon!
And Still-Complete- I made this story partly because the idea was floating in my mind and partly because I wanted to a story the opposite of Nostalgia. It focused on Ran not Shinichi. It ended sadly for our protagonist, not happily, but it did end happy for Ayumi. And that it focused on her feelings not his. I wanted to show that sometimes you love someone just because he/she reminds you for another.
As the Leaves Fall-Complete- The autumn story I wrote for the Live Journal Community Four Seasons, which apparently fell under! Going with the idea that the leaves fall, I extended it to love falling apart. I thought it would also be interesting for Ino to use her jutsu on Temari. I don't really like this story as much as some of my others.
Betrayal-Complete- This was just a weird a idea that came up sort of spontaneously. It is my only story I wrote only on the computer, not also on paper. I just wanted to show that Sasuke isn't as great as Ino thinks he is. He's got a cruel side. I wanted to express pain of dying and the pain of a love dying, but yet both are ended by continuing life and a new love.
Bloody Mary-Incomplete-This story. My most reviewed story. However in my eyes it doesn't deserve that response. It seems repeatitive and slow. I also write way better now. I want to redo this story. I want to start over from scatch and get to the point faster. I think I want it to be about 15 chapters at most. I also think that I want to make it more of a general YYh fic. My couple preferences show up too much...When will I start rewriting it? No idea!
Cliffhanger-Incomplete-Ah, the much questioned, "When-are-you-going-to-finish" and "update-all-ready"-story. Yes, people I do plan to finish it. Eventually! But not from where it is. No way. What's written is garbage to my eyes! I'm starting fresh. I actually had started rewriting it, but stopped. Don't get too thrilled, that was a year ago from as I write this. I want to emphasize more emotion. I want more complications and conflicts, but I also want a romance. A small one, not a big gushy-kissy-makeout love. A sweet kid love. They ARE only 10ish.
Ice-cream Makes you Feel Better-Complete- I wrote this for The One I Love contest. This was written shortly after Asuma died in the manga, so that's where the problem of the story started. The theme was supposed to be that a good friend knows when something is wrong, but they may not seem to be a good friend when they confront you. I didn't really nail the theme, but I did win reader's choice in the contest. : D I think the whole chess part came from thinking there should be a "stripe shogi" game between Shikamaru and Ino, but in the end I couldn't bring myself to write that! It's better off sweet, I think!
Kill Me or Kiss Me-In Progress- The story I'm currently working my hardest on. I have most of the plot thought out with only minor holes. That is really good for me! I got the idea of a mermaid story from walking around Disneyland and watching Mermaid Forest. I hope this story becomes as interesting as I hope it does. I have some good twists and ideas to put in it!
Learn a Little Something-Complete- The summer story I did for the Live Journal Community Four Seasons. One fun thing about summer is going to the beach and that is always a romantic spot. I worked in some of my ideas on "thin" people, since that seems to be a big part of Team Ten. I like this story and I was very upset when someone stole my story, taking paragraphs and quotations which I worked hard to come up with and saying it was her own.
Like a Cloud-Complete- My spring story for Four Seasons! I think the idea came from a million doors (a shikaino story). When I think spring I think of rain and rain makes me think of sadness. Then I got the idea that clouds come back after it rains. And my story developed from there.
Nostalgia-Complete-This story I thought up when I was trying to go to sleep. I went through the whole plot as I suffered from insomnia. And it made me cry! How weird! The next day I started writing. Mind you this was summer of 2005. I wrote throughout the summer, but school distracted me and I didn't pick up writing it until the end of the school year. And then it finally got put up her in the beginning of summer. However the tragic ending of Shinichi NOT ending up with Ran, was replaced by a happy ending, by plead of my sister. Even now I'm still caught between either ending. I like tradegy, but then-grrr! I like the story plot and the way I wrote it. I didn't write as huge paragraphs because I felt it lead the story through better. I felt it made you feel the emotions, without being distracted by details.
On the Line-Complete-I would have to say that this story was my turning point in my writing ability. I really like how I wrote the story. It had big paragraphs, but not because I didn't know where to end them. It had a suspenseful feel. It is something that I am really proud of! Also its my only complete multi-chapter story. Even though it took me a long time to type it up, I had it finished relatively quick by my standards. It was a story that I enjoyed writing and continued with a motivation I rarely have! The first draft of the story was positively aweful I should add. My sister told me it sucked and I trashed it! The second draft I loved though! It got to the point faster instead of going on about an iceskating rink! No one would guess the story was inspired by Kill Bill v.2! One thing I find different when writing about a canon couple like Yusuke and Keiko is that they are all ready in love. So I can't have them fall in love. So there has to be a complication!
Rule Twenty-Five-Complete- I think this is my favorite and most well-written story, I have wrote thus far! I really liked my plot, ven if it is sad and I think that it expressed my style better than some of my earlier or later work. Lately my style has been stringy(?) but I don't think it is in this story. I really appreciate every review I got for it and the demand for a sequel has made me to decide to make one!
Still Looking-Complete- A quick idea that I came up with when looking at how Ino's hair now covers her eye.
They Danced Anyway-Complete- This was a little idea I got while listening to the song, We Danced Anyway. I finally actually wrote it like a year after the idea came to me. I think it was cute and sweet, even though short!
Unbalanced Kisses-Complete-My first short story. I don't really like this story looking back on it. It was at my kind of bad stage of writing, but I finished it so I wasn't starting over. I wrote this in school during English class. My teacher couldn't give enough work to keep me busy. I like the basic I suppose. Though I think it could be written better. But it's done. It's finished. It stands as a show that I've improved at writing!
Unchangeable- Complete-This story just popped into my head one day-or was it at night? I came out with this idea that "what IF Link died and they actually were in love?" It was inspired by a Princess Zelda fansite, which assumed that even if she loved Link she wouldn't marry him, because the prosperity of the kingdom was more important. And that's something that he couldn't provide for. So that idea got me thinking. The long time before announcement of Twilight Princess was a inspiration too. That typical "I still love you" theme was the story. It pretty much was "Zelda's" thoughts on their love and just a way to express some of my thoughts in a fancy way. In the story it's inferred that she's married at first with the mention of her hair covered. Wonder if anyone knew they did that in Medieval Times. Last Edited...January 31, 2007
Yami's Stories:
Blossom of a Desert Cactus-complete- This was a story I wrote after a long break from writing. It was my first Naruto and my first GaaSaku fanfiction. I really liked how this story came out. I am proud of it. I liked the emotion that was represented in it.
Cheerful Violence-complete-I wrote this for the 21st Challenge on Lethal Empathy. The rule was that the characters couldn't show dialogue with quotations or any other form. I liked how my story came out.
Forbidden Love-complete- This was a story I thought of when I was thinking about how Gaara and Sakura are from different villages and what challenges they would face.
Hunted-Complete-This story was rewritten and changed from the original draft. I think I had about two chapters written and decided to rewrite it due to some reader's response. I liked how it came out better the second time but I don't like the antagonist too much. Looking back at it I don't like how I made him laugh so much. This story mainly focused on Kurama and was my first multi-chapter fanfiction. It had some Kurama and Botan romance at the end. I need to reread it and edit it one day. It has many errors in it.
I'm Always with You-Complete-This was my first fanfiction I ever wrote and put up on the internet. I was obsessed with Beyblade at the time and liked the couple of Mariah and Ray. It took me a long, long time to type up and it is very short so that's kind of sad. It was a short fic about that no matter where one goes they'll always be in your heart. This fanfiction shows how much of an amateur at writing I was.
Kuwabaka-Complete-This was a short poem about Kuwabara. At first it criticizes him and then in the last line it says something good about him. It really is a cruel and stupid poem. Why did I write this? It is so immature, even in it's rythme scheme.
Let's Stay Together Always-Complete-I wrote this after I saw Fruits Basket. I really liked Hiro and Kisa and decided to write this. This sorta had the "always with you" thing going on as well. I really loved how Hiro cared for Kisa so much. I wanted to write about how he would do anything for her even if it hurt him in the process.
Stranded-Incomplete-I started writting this around the time when I was obsessed with Beyblade. I don't really remember how I thought up the idea or anything. I am not too proud of it. It is pretty unoriginal and too lengthy. It didn't really have a planned story line. I just made it up as I went. You can see the improvement from the first chapter to the last chapter I wrote. I don't think I will continue it any time soon. If I was to work on it again I would completing start over.
