Hi! My name's Amy. My pen-name Arye comes from the name of a female elf in an origional story I wrote a couple of years ago. (yeah, I like writing about elves) I'm 24, from Oregon in the US. I've got one sister who goes by the name MenenTesa here on ff.net. (check out her stories, they're great!) I've got carmel colored hair and rather vivid blue eyes.

Likes: white chocolate mochas (from Starbucks preferably), ferrets, Wallace and Gromit, Drizzt books, HP books, Dee Henderson books, cockatoos, comic books, Lord of the Rings, drawing, concept drawings from LotR movies, music written by Velio Tormis (an Estonian composer that my choir teacher just loves), the ocean, Norman Rockwell art, frozen burritos, fish and chips, moose tracks ice cream, Spiderman/Xmen/Justice League/superhero-type movies/comics/cartoons/anything else. (heehee) I absolutely LOVE the Younge Justice comic books! they're hilarious!

I collect: postcards, squished pennies, fun/creative/colorful cups and mugs, and books (lots and lots of books)

My hobbies include: singing (I'm an alto), art (mostly pencil and prisma), long distance bike-riding (as in 5 day long rides w/ camping at night. soooo fun!), reading (honestly, i'm addicted.I probably own over 200 books. before I found the wonderful world of fanfic-dom, you never saw me without my nose in a book.I read strictly fiction though. none of that non-fiction stuff. give me a good fantasy, romance, or action novel any day!)

-I do not know elvish. I got lucky and found an awesome site that gave elvish phrases, soI use that in my story. If someone else out there knows Tolkien's elvish better than I do, feel free to give me tips on how to improve.
