Short title- I am so sick of all these fanfictions that have sentences for titles 2. Proper summary- short, conscise...just enough to pique the curiosity, but not too short that there's nothing there 3. Leave yourself out- what I mean is, don't say anything about yourself in the story...frankly I think its a waste of space, especially if you're being negative. That includes the summary. 4. Spacing- For God's sake people! Do not put every single word on one line! 5. Pacing- too much too quickly or too little too long creates dissatisfaction and impatience. 6. One Language- mixing languages is often not done smoothly, and it confuses us unilingual people 7. Unnessary Dialogue- if you feel you must talk to your readers...such as answer a comment or a review wait until the end of the chapter...eitherwise it takes forever to get to the story. 8. Grammer/spelling- this is just a professional thing, watch out because too many errors will just make the writer look like a moron 9. Characters- consistency helps, so does being realistic. 10. Originality- no one likes to be sued, but also show a little imagination by coming up with stuff that's new and different. 11. If you're going to use big words, at least use them correctly. 12. Finish your fic. Even if you think the beginning sucks and can't be salvaged, finish it. And while I'm at it... Cardinal Rules for Reviews 1. Say something more than just "Great Chapter, Update soon!" If you like a chapter, cool, express it. 2. If you're going to complain, save yourself the trouble and don't. 3. Complete sentences or at least complete words. Chat speak on reviews are just weird. 4. Before you decide to type "UPDATE SOON!!" Keep in mind that it takes time to write stories and chapters, especially when you have a life. 5. Be nice. A bad review is just an unpleasant thing. 6. Grammer/Spelling Nazi, writers are only human and have the right to human error. It's rude to point them out in reviews. If you feel the need to give an English lesson, send a PM. 7.
