It's a Naruto fanfic. The pairing is SaiXSakura.

Plot Synopsis: Sai is out searching for friends in his new found perspective on life. But that means nothing to Danzou and his plan to over throw Tsunade from the position of Hokage. When Danzou disappears and the entire village council is in an uproar about his whereabouts, Sai feels conflicted about where his allegiances lie as he is sent on a mission with Sakura to oust his superior. Sai’s true part in ROOT will soon be revealed, as well as why his hidden past is so interlocked with Sakura’s future.

Plot Synopsis: The Sand Siblings travel home from a visit to Konoha. While avoiding a sandstorm, they discover small, poor, village on the forested border of the Wind and Fire Countries, dedicated for lost travelers. A place where no one seems to know the name Gaara or the reputation that came with it. The single hotel is owned by a widower from the Water country.
