The Children of Men. From Bollywood, my favorites are Rang De Basanti, Devdas, all of Karan Johar's movies, Fanaa, Dhoom, New York and a whole bunch of others I can't really remember at the moment. Favorite TV Shows: I'm a MAJOR TV show buff...let's see, Charmed, Supernatural, Numb3rs, LOST, Grey's Anatomy, One Tree Hill, The O.C., Friends, Alias, The Practice, Boston Legal, JAG, Dark Angel, Criminal Minds...and believe me or not, I could actually go on. Favorite Actors: Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Viggo Mortensen, Nicolas Cage, Brad Pitt, Drew Fuller, Hugh Grant, Patrick Dempsey, Jared Padelscki and Jensen Ackles, Tom Cruise, Kajol, Konkona Sen Sharma, the great SRK, Rene Zelweger (pretty sure I haven't spel that right), Sandra Bullock, Ellen Pompeo, Anne Hathway... and once again, I could go on... Favorite fandoms: Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Charmed, Supernatural, Numb3rs. Favorite generes: Angst (first and foremost), Romance, Action/Adventure, Drama. Favorite types of fics: In general, I'll read anything if it's well-written and has a good plot. In the LOTR fandom, I love Legolas-Aragorn friendship fics. I have since I first joined this site, and read my first fanfic, "Broken Alliance" by Mirrordance. In the Harry Potter fandom, I love Draco/Hermione, Snape/Hermione (even though it did give me the willies at first, there are some really great fics with this pairing!), Snape mentors Harry fanfics, angsty Snape, and very recently, Draco/Harry. ("The Depths of Witner" by banacosmicgirl is to thank for that. What an amazing D/H romance that was. The best I've read to date.) Also, of late, time travel stories. In the Charmed fandom, I normally only read stories about Chris. He's my favorite character on the show, and I think it the creators of Charmed didn't use him to his full potential. If there had been more episodes like Chris-Crossed, I think the show would have been a lot more successful. Season six was the best season in the show because of this character, and all the other seasons pale in comparison. For Supernatural, I like Dean angst and I like Sam angst- which basically means I like almost everything. What I write: Mostly, Lord of the Rings. A Teacher's Duty is my best finished work, but it's sequel, Until We Reach Valinor, is in my opinion, even better. In fact, that one is shaping up to be the best I've ever written. Hell, the entire triology, once I'm done with it, will be a source of very great pride to me. Most of my LOTR fics feature Legolas, who's my favorite characer, and Aragorn, who is a close second. I've also started a Harry Potter/Charmed crossover in which has enough Chris angst to hopefully satsify the others out there who love this genre. Then there's my one Supernatural fanfic which is a tag to 'Mystery Spot.' And then there are assorted oneshots. My Batman/Gordon friendship series is worth a look, too...
