Author has written 39 stories for Mummy, Fairy Tales, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Blade, Superman, Smallville, and Dresden Files. Hello! I am Nefertiri's Handmaiden. First of all, thanks for clicking on that little link to my page. It's good to know that you liked something enough to check me out on the whole. I write mostly Superman fanfiction. I also have couple fics in "The Mummy," "Lord of the Rings," and, of course, "Harry Potter." I have a couple of Blade fics, but they're not easy for me to write due to the darkness of the storyline so I rarely attempt it. I'll warn you now: I write mostly one-shots and fluff. If you're looking for something deep, all I've got for you is "Not Because I Know How to Yodel" (Superman) and "Sound of Gunfire, See My Tears" (Blade: Trinity). "Zen and Reconciliation," (Superman) I like to think, is an in-depth look at Lois and Clark's relationship. If you're looking for something extremely light and funny, I recommend my small series called the "30 Seconds" series: a short collection of famous fairy tales, cut down as far as they can be. My "Evidence" series is a lot of fun, too. It's a series of one-shots following the inevitable relationship of Lois and Clark. "Clark Kent: Sex Fiend," should draw a chuckle from you, too. My latest completed works are "Zen and Reconciliation" and "Clark Kent: Sex Fiend." "Zen and Reconciliation" was nominated for a few Superman Movieverse Fanfiction Awards. My short, "Clark Kent: Sex Fiend," won Best Super-Short and Best Humor. And, to my delight, "Kisses for Clark" won Best Kiss. Check it out at community.livejournal.com/supes_mv_awards. Coming Soon (I hope): A follow-up to "Zen and Reconciliation." Clark Kent wants to be Jason's father and Lois's man. The problem is (as it has always been) that he also needs to be Superman. Sherlock Holmes, "A Case of Identity." Nefertiri's Handmaiden's Recommendations: Books: Neil Gaimans's American Gods. Neil Gaiman is genius, engaging, and downright visionary. In 20 years, he will be as famous as Robert Heinlein. I believe it. Patricia Briggs's Mercy Thompson series. Briggs is no Gaiman or Terry Goodkind, but these books are well-written and flat-out fun. Clive Barker's Books of Blood. Brilliant writing from a brilliantly creative mind. Do not read before bed unless you want nightmares. Movies: "Star Trek: 2009." A fantastic re-imagining of a classic American sci-fi icon "Up." So cute I can't hardly stand it. "Appaloosa." Classic Hollywood Western, plus Viggo Mortenson. You can't go wrong. Comic Books/Graphic Novels: "Batman: Hush." The art of Jim Lee is flawless and gorgeous. "Superman: For Tomorrow." More Jim Lee. More brilliance. "Justice League: New Frontier" (and accompanying animated film). Comic books like they should be. A perfect blend of the golden age and modern superhero. Fanfictions: See my favorites. These are brilliant writers and engaging stories. A brief exerpt from "Clark Kent: Sex Fiend." Jimmy got the pictures, Lois scooped the story, and Superman defeated Luthor. And the world was as it should be. But when Lois and Jimmy got back to the Planet while Superman dealt with cleanup, Lois's flattering skirt was still displaying an inordinate amount of flesh that Lois usually reserved for Clark's eyes, only. There were catcalls. Many of them. A few containing some fairly filthy language. Gil's, however, was one of the more tame. "Hey, hey, Lois," he said with an exaggerated leer, "What do I gotta do to get some of that that?" Lois rolled her eyes. "Be Clark Kent," she deadpanned. Jimmy risked another glance at her leg. Then he gasped and flushed simultaneously. "Miss Lane!" he said. "What is that?" He pointed to her thigh. She glanced down. There, neatly framed by the rip in her skirt and clearly visible through her nylons, was a bruise. And not just any bruise. A bruise shaped like a hand, dark purple and obviously fresh. A bruise far too high on her thigh to have been caused in a G-rated situation. She gave an internal sigh, having forgotten about it when she'd ripped her skirt open. Clark never meant to be rough. In fact, he always struggled to be exceedingly gentle for fear of hurting her. But sometimes, when his mind got away from him, his hands squeezed her a little too tight, and she ended up with some impressive bruises. He always felt guilty, but Lois kind of liked them. It was a little kinky, but she figured that was a pretty mild kink in comparison to her raging xenophilia. | |||||||
