Random Inuyasha Related Notes

- Any Inuyasha story I write will always be Inuyasha/Kagome, no matter what, and will always have a healthy dose of Miroku/Sango in it as well. Small side pairings include Kouga/Ayame and Sesshoumaru/Kagura.

- Kagome has bluish-gray eyes in the manga, which is why I never write her as having brown eyes.

- Yes, I always write their names as having "ou" in them (for example: Sesshoumaru not Sesshomaru, Kikyou not Kikyo, Souta not Sota). Way back when, both spellings were all over the place. I've always used the "ou" spellings, so it's kind of hard for me to switch gears after over seven years!

My name is Day. I'm a girl. I studied English and French at university. I live in the United States, but I have visited several countries around the world. I am actually paid to write and copyedit at a large company, and I do similar tasks for the English department at the university from which I graduated. I'm all busy and stuff.

My Writing Process

1. Drink 1 to 4 cups of coffee.
2. Get hit with inspiration someplace that is very far away from a computer: in a meeting, in class, in the car.
3. Desperately try to remember everything as line after line writes itself while I have no way to write it down.
4. Finally get to the computer; stare blankly at the screen.
5. Eventually write one line, and then everything falls into place. Hopefully. This step sometimes takes many repeats to happen correctly.
6. Try to read over for mistakes; get distracted halfway through.
7. Post.
8. Be late to next activity.

10 Random Facts About Me

1. I have two tattoos; more to come, I'm sure.
2. I donate blood as often as I can, even though I'm afraid of needles and blood and pain. (6/6/11: Have officially donated one gallon of blood!)
3. I only own three volumes of the Inuyasha manga: 4, 5, and 56.
4. I am obsessed with zombies. Srsly, ask me a question about any zombie movie, video game, or book.
5. I love to play video games.
6. I am a total nerd. And geek. And not in the stylish television way. D:
7. I'm really short, and I have to endure short jokes from friends, family, and coworkers all the time.
8. My favorite IY character is Sango. My favorite RE character is Claire. Hmm, brunettes who wear their hair in ponytails and are searching for their brothers...
9. I am addicted to coffee. I actually go through withdrawal if I don't have any for more than 24 hours.
10. I have two cats and a bird. My dog was put down in April. [insert sobbing here]
