For starters, you can refer to me as Téa. It's not my real name, but everyone calls me that. I won't tell you how old I am, because at my age (though not as old as some people here) I believe that I shouldn't even be on this site, let alone writing fanfiction.

I enjoy writing a lot, and will sometimes spend hours typing on my laptop or writing in my notebook. I put a lot of effort into everything I write and post, and the nicest thing you can do for me is review and let me know if my hard work is paying off.

To everyone who thinks Azula was OOC in "The Beach" or is still sociopathic/whatever, read this and see if it doesn't change your mind.

The following is an excerpt from a discussion over at LJ about Azula. The person quoted is MsJimmy:

"Exactly. Everyone gets in a huff because they're saying she's not a good person no matter how much we want her to be.

uh... did we ever say she was good? No, I'm pretty sure we're all aware of the fact that Azula is not a nice person XD She did a lot of wrong, messed up things. The point is, she didn't do them out of "her pure evil soul."

People think she's a sociopath because she lacks empathy but what people fail to realize is that is an extremely common defense mechanisim-- lack of empathy/emotions. Not to mention she's a very angry person. She doesn't show emotion because she doesn't trust people. She's just very confused, like Ursa said. Azula doesn't believe that people can love her, because she believes that everyone has other motives-- which is completely understandable considering the only person who was ever there for her was her father-- and he didn't love her, he used her. He was there for her to use her, and that was his motive.

She cracked when Ursa said, "No I love you Azula, I do." And she wants to badly to believe that, you can tell, but she can't trust people because of everyone abandoning her. Honestly, I think her life was harder than Zuko's."

Ughhhh...sorry I've been so inactive lately. I haven't even updated this darn thing since August, and now it's winter--noooooooooooo! ;-; I love summer, I always get the most inspiration then, and now everything is cold, and dead/dying, and soon we'll need the heater on all the time, and scarves, and gloves, and hats, and warm coats and-and-oh the aggravation! Well, at least there's some snow to look forward to. Yes, snow makes everything better.

Anyway, in some other news, I'm back in college--yay! Or maybe not. Because I've been so busy lately with school, I've had like, zero time to work on my stories. Why do you dislike #11 (YoruSoi) so much?

Oh man, where do I start? Aside from the fact that it seems impossible to have a teacher/student relationship anymore these days without people jumping to romantic conclusions? I don't see Soi's relationship with Yoruichi as romantic, or at the very least, more like a fangirl crushing on her favorite movie star. Seriously, from the moment she was born, Soi Fon was put into service for the Shihouin family. She looked up to Yoruichi and wanted to be just like her, but romantic feelings? No, I just don't see it that way. And even if you want to argue that she does, it's completely one-sided, because Yoruichi obviously doesn't care about her in the same manner. Just look at the way she cast her aside so easily the night she left, without even a goodbye. I doubt Yoruichi is aware of exactly how much Soi Fon admired her, nor of how much she hurt her when she left.

The anime, of course, likes to play up their relationship a lot, but most of what happened in the anime did not happen in the manga, nor is it canon in the least. And if the way their relationship was portrayed in the 3rd movie is supposed to tell you anything, then it's not healthy at all.

If you want to compare, Soi Fon's relationship with Yoruichi is extremely similar to Hinamori's relationship with Aizen. Both admired their captains' immensely, both got stabbed in the heart (one figuratively, one physically), and both were betrayed (Soi believed Yoruichi betrayed SS, and also betrayed her by leaving without a goodbye, and Hinamori was betrayed by Aizen, well, you know the rest). You wouldn't say Hinamori has feelings for Aizen anymore, would you? Well, that's how I see it with Soi Fon.

Who do you know that ships #13 (ByaYoru)?

The whole ByaYoru FC on Bleach Asylum? XD But on this site, hm...the only one whom I know and actually read one of her fanfics is Kay Willow.

What would be your ideal scenario for couple #3 (HitsuHina)?

Oh joy! The OTP that got me into Bleach! XD

My ideal scenario for these two would to have be...

-Aizen appears near a recovered Hinamori during the FKT battle, Hitsugaya and co. are nearby-

Aizen: You survived my attack, Hinamori-kun. Impressive, if I do say so myself.

Hinamori: -clutching her sword tightly- Ai...Aizen...

Aizen: Though I suppose it was foolish of me to underestimate you. After all, I didn't pick you as my lieutenant for nothing.

Hinamori: -clenching her teeth, prespiration dripping down her face-

Hitsugaya: Hinamori!

Aizen: You've proven that you're much stronger than you look. Why don't you join me then, Hinamori-kun?

Hinamori: -incredulous- -thinking to herself- What?!

Aizen: I didn't want to ask you to join me back in Soul Society, because I felt that you would refuse my offer. But now that we're here, on the battlefield, I don't have any reason to fear your answer.

Hitsugaya: Hinamori! -gritting his teeth- what the hell do you think you're doing, Aizen?! Hinamori isn't your puppet! She'll never go back to you!

Aizen: -glances at Hitsugaya irritantly- you annoying fly. A pity Hinamori didn't finish you off when she had the chance. I think I'll let her make the decision -looks back at Hinamori, a smile curling his lips-

Hitsugaya: Hinamori! -glances at her, back at Aizen, then back at her- Hinamori! -eyes widen as he watches her take a step forward- HINAMORI!

Aizen: -smirking triumphantly, as he listens to Hitsugaya's panicky cries-

Hinamori: -eyes shadowed, breathing heavily- I...

Aizen: -watching her carefully-

Hinamori: -eyes still heavily shadowed- I...

Aizen: -looking at her shrewdly- do you have an answer for me, Hinamori-kun?

Hitsugaya: -watching her with wide eyes, unable to say anything-

Hinamori: -finally looks up while simultaneously holding her sword out in front of her- Way of destruction ninety! Kurohitsugi!

-something huge and black encases Aizen-

Hitsugaya: -eyes still wide with shock- Hina..mori...-eyes go even wider in alarm- HINAMORI BEHIND YOU!

Hinamori: -spins around just as the illusion shatters, barely managing to block Aizen's sword-

Aizen: A pity. You're going to have to make me go through all the trouble of killing you twice.

Which is your favorite episode for #1 (Sokkla)? Try to pick just one.

Ahahaha, there's really only ONE episode they interacted in XD and that's DoBS, so I guess by default it's my favorite. Though I will say that 'The Beach' gve me a whole new perspective on this relationship

How long have you been following couple #6 (LeeTen)?

Oh, at least 2 years! I wrote 'Conversations' a year before I posted it, so I've been a fan of this couple for a pretty long while!

What's the story with #8 (Zutara)? Why did you stop liking them/caring?

Two words: Fandom. Overload.

I mean, when Avatar first came out, and I finally got around to watching the episodes with ZK interaction, I was all like, yeah, it's basic math. 1 + 1 = 2. I mean, it seemed so OBVIOUS, I didn't know how anyone could miss it.

And then I had the great misfortune of reading a S1 Zutara fanfic (aka capture fic) that had over 1,000 reviews. Normally I'm really picky about what I read, but it had so many reviews, and it was complete, I figured that it must be something pretty special. And then I read it. And then I was introduced to the fact that a fanfic can have everything from OOCness, to abuse (portrayed as romantic), to the notion that Stockholm's Syndrome = Love, and STILL have people going 'Omigd what an awesome fic!!1! Ur such a gr8 writer keep it UP!11!!1'.

I honestly can't decide which is worse. Zutara fics, that make you wonder how moronic the human race can be, or the Twilight series, that makes you feel like 1,000 braincells are dying per every word.

Don't get me wrong, I'm OKAY with Zutara, for the most part. But I don't think I'll ever be active for this part of the fandom, or enjoy the ship at all, since there's been too many clichés, too many overdone plots, and in general, too much Zutara.

Which ship do you prefer - #2 (Taang) or #4 (UlquiHime)?

Oh, oh gd, no! You can't be serious! First you ask me to list my fave ships, and then you ask me to choose between the two?! -headdesk-

Uggh...this is so difficult, because I really do love both these ships so much...

I guess I'd have to choose #2, Taang. Why? Because their relationship is brimming with so much life in it. And while UlquiHime is beatiful too, I have yet to write anything for them (which I will! Eventually...), so...I'm not sure how it is exactly that I see them.

You have the power (I've got the pow~er!) to make one ship non-existent. Choose from #10 (HitsuKarin/Matsu/Any ship that breaks up HitsuHina) or #12 (Tyzula)

Another difficult one. Hm...

I'd have to go with #12. Mainly because HitsuKarin is based off a lie, so I'm not worried about them ever becoming canon. I don't think Tyzula is canon at all, but Azula is my favorite character, and seeing her paired up with Ty Lee makes me sick to my stomach.

What interests you about #14 (ByaUno)?

XD well, I think it's mainly the lulz of the relationship. But truthfully, I read this AMAZING fic called Hinamori's Cookies, and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone! It's...it's just wow. If you ever wanted to read a story full of plot twists (good ones at that!), drama, and the kind of suspense that has you gripping the edge of your seat, this is definitely the story for that!

When did you stop liking #7 (IchiHime)?

As soon as I started reading the manga XD I mainly shipped them together because my sister is an avid IchiRuki shipper, and before I got into Bleach, she wouldn't stop going on about IchiRuki, and the rivalry of IchiHime. So, because I can, I told her I ship IchiHime. And now that I've actually read about the relationship, it saddens me that people can actually read the manga and still ship them together.

Did your waning interest in #9 (Sukka) kill your interest in the show?

LOL, no. It made me hate TBR, Suki, and that whole relationship (contriiiiiiiived) with a deep passion, but no. I'm an avid fan of Avatar, I just feel bad that they had to pair up such an awesome character with such a flat, one-dimensional, Mary Sue-ish girl.

What's a song that reminds you of #5 (ByaSoi)?

Pfffffhahahahahahaha. Okay, okay, sorry. I just, I don't listen to a lot of music, so I really can't answer this question accurately. But I suppose, going off the top of my head...hm...'Break Away'. Mainly because I think the lyrics fit them in the sense that Soi Fon would have to take a chance in trusting someone enough to open up to them (after the whole thing with Yoruichi), and Byakuya would have to break away from his vanity enough to care about someone else. -kicks him-

Which of these ships do you love the most?

Well, I guess it would have to be a tie between HitsuHina & ByaSoi. The former because it's the reason I'm in this fandom altogether, and the latter because--well, how could you NOT love crack like this?!

But I guess...in the end...HitsuHina would win out XD I'm sorry, I just love these two sooo much! I mean, how anyone could not see what an amazing relationship they have is just beyond me. -nods-

Okay, seriously...hm...

YoruSoi & Tyzula. I'm am NOT choosing between the two, because I hate them both equally. The former because you can't have a student/teacher relationship anymore, and the latter, because apparently your best friend betraying you and backstabbing you, and then going off to a far away island to wear heavy makeup and ridiculous costumes and have lots and lots of fun with other weirdos like you is tantamount to a proclimation of love.

Fandoms sometimes sickens me.

If you could have any two pairings double-date, which would they be? (Even better if they're from different shows.)

LOOL! Okay, okay, gimme a sec..

Alright, I would totally want to see UlquiHime double-dating with LeeTen! Seriously!!

Oh my gd, Orihime and Lee would click in an instant! Can you guys NOT imagine Lee teaching Orihime the 'nice guy pose', and Orihime doing it to Ulquiorra?! ROFL!!

Oh, and Orihime would TOTALLY introduce Lee to new and interesting dishes! I mean, Lee already likes interesting things like 'the curry of life', he would so totally go for Hime's brand of exotic food!

And all the while, Ulquiorra and Tenten would just kind of be like, 'Why meee?! Why why why me?!' and I can just see them having this kind of conversation:

Ulquiorra: -watching Lee & Orihime do the 'nice guy pose'- "...Is...does he do this often?"

Tenten: -dying of embarrassment- "Yeah, pretty much."

Did #4 (UlquiHime) have a happy ending? If the show hasn't ended yet, do you think a happy ending is likely?

The show hasn't ended yet, but I have faith that these two will end up together. They just had so much development, and so much chemistry, I cannot imagine Kubo going to all the trouble of showing how beautifully they compliment each other, just to end it at 354. He would NOT leave us hanging like this!

What would make you start shipping #13 (ByaYoru)?

Kisuke died, Soi Fon died, Hell froze over, and Byakuya actually gained some depth to his character.

If only one could happen, which do you prefer - #2 (Taang) or #6 (LeeTen)?

Darn you! Making me choose again! What the hell kind of cruel meme is this?!

Grrrrr...this is so difficult. Well, Avatar is already over, so that rules out Taang from happening. But then again, Kishimoto sucks at romance, so I don't know if I even WANT him touching the LeeTen ship (oh who am I kidding?! Just a scene between the two of them would make me squee with joy!)

Well...darnit...um...Taang. Because goshdarnit, this ship is EPIC, and Bryke could've totally ran with the Swamp Theory and taken the show to new heights of explosively amazing epic proportions. But noooooo. They just HAD to go the Kataang route, and end the story on a tepid, stunningly unimpressive, 'this is the greatest day of my life!' note.

You have the power to decide the fate of #10 (HitsuKarin/Matsu/any ship that breaks up HitsuHina). What happens to them?

Matsumoto marries Gin and has 6 babies with him. Karin grows up and starts dating Chad (yes, CHAD). Aizen dies. Renji ends up with Tatsuki. Hinamori becomes captain of the 5th. Ichigo & Rukia marry. Kira and Isane end up together. Orihime marries Ulquiorra in a big epic bash sponsered by Inoue Caterings. Hiyori and Shinji hook up. All Mary Sues/OC's die.

And Hitsugaya and Hinamori spend the rest of their lives together, fighting hollows/enemies/and all the evils of shippers and fandom, and they live happily ever after.
